Popped in here with our dogs for a coffee. Our dogs were made vet welcome and we had a lovely coffee and bara brith. Good menu of soup, paninis etc and homemade cakes. This is the visitors centre and also has some nice items for sale.

A large group of us had a fantastic lunch at The Coach House a few weeks ago. We were all super impressed with the delicious home cooked food, the best creamy tasting coleslaw ever, fantastic homemade soups and great tasting toasties that the children devoured. Very reasonable priced, with a lovely cosy atmosphere and very friendly and personable staff -... More

Popped in for a quick cup of tea as I was passing, ended up having a delicious scone with jam and clotted cream too. Lovely service, lovely place! Will be coming for lunch next time I'm passing.

Well well well I visited recently and had the HOMEMADE Cawl & cake. Amazingly good value for exceptionally good food. Staff are always friendly & helpful and the abbey is an amazing setting. We will be back soon!

The Coach-house is a great venue for a lovely cup of tea, some home made cake and a chat and a browse. When we have a break down in the village, we always go in, and even though we are not local to the area by any means, everyone is always so welcoming and helpful. Tuesday morning is a must,... More

It is extra busy on Tuesdays due to the excellent small producers market next door, but plenty of staff on duty, clean and friendly The cafe opens out into the ruins of the Abbey, and dogs are welcome throughout. The cafe is part of a small visitor centre, and has articles for sale displayed around it. We only had coffee... More

Consistently good coffee and poached eggs, bacon and toast in the mornings. Nice range of snacks and home cooking during the day time. Give it a try when in the area.

Such a delight to be serviced a good coffee at the temperature we asked for, and tasted as if,we were drinking coffee. We also had the scones. It was truly an afternoon tea and you would hope for. Old fashion recipe from a local woman. The staff were delightful. Couldn't have asked for more!

Had afternoon tea here after a brief wander around the abbey. Very good home made cakes, and interesting choice of drinks. Nice relaxing surroundings and clean toilets.
