Took a little drive to this place. The bake crab was amazing...So good I had to buy two extra ones to take home with me.

If you love baked/stuffed crabs your trip will not be complete without a visit to Mary's Crab Shack. It is definitely worth the drive.

Having read about Mary's crab shack on TA, and it was on our way to our rental in Port Howe, we stopped one night to bring home dinner. Shellfish allergies prevented us from most of the menu but we opted for fish fingers and fries....Preparations took about 45 minutes during which time most of the family came out to chat with us or just say hello. Took the dinner back to our rental and was amazed at how good the fish was and the amount of fish a dinner had for the crazy low price of $12. Would recommend to stop if the doors are open and you are passing by.More

So much great food at Mary"s, especially the lobster dinners!! We would highly recommend. You can call ahead and have your dinner ready for pickup!

Pat and Mary have by far the best "Take Away " food on Cat. We visit this island quite often as our home base while we Island hope. Call ahead to place your order Or just stop in and hear a bit of local facts...about the island. Pat also has an Eco tour she provides for a modest cost. We stopped here for lunch for a Bahamian meal and it was quite good! We ate it there which we wouldn't do next time. There is a very aggressive cat that meowed nonstop for bits of food - take it to go and eat it...at the deveraux mansion beach. We had split conch, conch fritters and fried fish. The fries were undercooked and the salad was plain - I'd ask for just the main next time. The split conch wasn't great, it was very chewy. The conch fritters and fried fish were absolutely excellent and I would recommend both of these.More
