Ever wished of eating your lunch on the beach that is pictured in that travel magazine? This is it! The food is nothing fancy, but it is fresh and the ingredients are good. The service is slow; this is not fast food for sure. As...More

We've been to Banana Bay every time we've visited Grand Bahama. It is a delightful beachside restaurant - casual, with fabulous food. Don't miss it!

Typical beach fare with good burgers including the conch burger (very tasty!), conch fritters and cold drinks to cure the heat. Huge deck looks over beautiful uncrowded beach. When the tide is out is amazingly wide with a natural shallow lagoon. Why sit inside when...More

The food was fine and the prices were average - this wasn't anything to write home about. The view, on the other hand, was amazing. This restaurant sits on the beach, so it's very relaxing and lovely to look at.

We visited Banana Bay on Thursday, April 8, 2010. Banana Bay is more than a restaurant - we spent the whole day there. To begin with, the beautiful beach has a very long, wide, shallow ocean area to wade and play in. The restaurant has...More

Imagine the classic postcard or travel poster for the Bahamas ... or any nice spot in the Caribbean for that matter. The lovely clear blue-green water, the palm trees lining the beach and almost no one else around. In most cases, that would be just...More

I believe they open at 10 am. , but not positive. I know the whole island revolves around the cruise ships coming in so they may open earlier during those days.
