Overall OK stay. Some minor issues - room was facing main road so noisy, tap dial fell off, sink smelt like sewer, kettle no to near plug socket. Water spluttered when run. Jacuzzi not that warm. No light bite snack available until 3. What I...More

As soon as we entered we were welcomed with such warm hospitality, you don't get that in many places. Our table was ready for us and we ordered our drinks and served promptly, the same again in relation to our food. All the staff were...More

I stayed overnight and found the restaurant better than the accommodation. The staff were friendly and it seemed that locals came to enjoy the food too, so a nice atmosphere. Good beer on tap too. I had garlic mushrooms on brioche and it was simple...More

A nice enough place but the food was very expensive and stingy on the portion sizes. Otherwise the staff were nice, room was nice, and parking was good enough. Just need to sort out the tight food portions.

We always visit Nant Ddu when we are in the area. The food never disappoints. The bar area has the best atmosphere, we do not go to the restaurant! Food is delicious and very good value.

First the plus points. Probably one of the nicest pub meals we’ve had for a while. My partner who is a vegetarian had an onion tartlet and I had one of the nicest pork loins I’ve had for ages. The staff were very friendly and...More

Overpriced, deep fried, poor quality food - we were really disappointed as were expecting better things from the menu.

The food was lovely and although the kitchen was being renovated it did not effect the quality. The ingredients were of a good quality, the fillet steak melted in your mouth and the jus was well flavoured. My only disappointment was the chips and onion...More

Coming by bus from Merthyr Tydfil- which is the best bus service(there and back) to use and how far (walking} is the nearest bus stop from Nant Ddu is it for someone with limited mobility?

The T4 bus (to Brecon) runs right past the hotel, and I believe it is a request stop outside the hotel. The bus is operated by Stagecoach.
