We first had dinner here in 2015 after sailing in BVI for a week and we ended up there again this year. Both experiences were excellent. The service is fabulous. Our waiter was from Indianapolis and was so personable and fun and very helpful with suggestions. Our group shared 3 apps (squid, smelts, and octopus) and then each had different... More

After reading reviews here and visiting the website, we were very excited for some great paella and other Spanish specialties. Maybe it was an off night, but the paella was overcooked and dry and the snapper was a bit rubbery and overwhelmed by the garlic sauce. After having excellent meals at Havanna Blue and Banana Leaf on previous nights, Amalia... More

This out of the way cafe, found on one of the many "passages" in Charlotte Amalie, boasts great "vacation" atmosphere with a sensational Caribbean and Mediterranean menu. The seafood paella is out of this world and the staff, very eager to please. Located amidst the numerous jewelry boutiques throughout the city, Amalia Cafe is is hidden gem!

Had a great meal here last year, so decided to return on our first night in St Thomas this year. Every bit as good as we remembered! The pitcher of sangria was a wonderful accompaniment to our meal. My wife and I started with the gazpacho - some of the best we've ever had, elegantly served in a martini glass.... More

Terrific ambiance and hospitality. The Zarzuela de Mariscos was the best seafood dish I've had in years. The sangria was delicious. Without question I would come back and recommend to everyone.

We loved the food here so much we came back the next day for lunch. Everything we had was very good. The wait staff offers great service. We also go to meet the owner who is very hands on. Eat here. You won't be disappointed.
