We were recommended Wilma's by the lady in the tourist office in Charlestown. However she did warn us that they served large portions, she wasn't wrong there. My wife had fish and I had barbecued ribs both were lovely. I'd go as far as to say that no trip to Charleston is complete unless you visit Wilma's!

The food was good but for the size on the meal it was overpriced. The service was good but the we were the only one's there. As there are a lot of other places to eat on the island that charge a more realistic price we will not go back.

The restaurant had been recommended to us as a great place for lunch after walking around the City. The chef had previously worked at Montpelier so we were sure it would be good. We were the only ones there for lunch so we were able to chat with the chef's son, Wilford. He told us of the history of the... More

Had lunch there. Lovely place. Apparently Princess Di, Harry and William ate there once. Given the age of the only person working that day I sincerely doubt he was there unless he was in a playpen. The service was actually a tad faster than anywhere else but that may have been because we were the only ones there. The food... More

We made reservations for Tropical Night which is Saturday evening dinner and were blown away by the wonderful dinner we were served. Beginning with the Tania fritters, the wonderful shellfish soup, salad, and the four different seafood items (including a generous piece of lobster), sides of vegetables and rice with peas, and warm banana crepes with ice cream for dessert,... We had a late lunch at Wilma's at the recommendation of a Canadian couple we met at the baths. What a rare gem! We both had grouper. I ordered the fish and chips, my partner had it grilled and seasoned. As one who grew up in one of the prime fishing ports on the East Coast of the U.S., I've... More

We had visited Wilma's on our last visit and was looking forward to visiting this trip. We were not disappointed. Food was excellent and plentiful, home made drinks were really nice, service was friendly and welcoming. Add to this great value and it is hard to find a better place to lunch on the island. Sit in the window and... More

Tis little restaurant is a real gem. I was looking for a special Caribbean meal. Although they did not have it on the menu they offered to go to the market and prepare it for me! Thank you so much for this super-nice hospitality!! Next time we bring more time....
