We were visiting the Carambola Beach Club off a cruise ship. We only had about 4 hours to spend and spent a good two of them trying to get drinks and food. The service, as well as method of payment, was inefficient. We ordered our food, were told to get in line behind people checking into the Club to pay for the food, and even after about 20 minutes our food wasn't ready when we returned to the restaurant. It seemed understaffed.

Our ship tour included 90 minutes at Carambola Beach Club with chairs and a drink. Our first image was wall to wall beach chairs and umbrellas 4-5 rows deep blocking our view of the beach. Once we got chairs with cushions we walked the beach. The beach was crowded as there were four ships in port. Walking the beach along the shoreline is not easy as there is a steep decline to the waterline. The water is shallow and relatively calm on the Caribbean side. After drying off we went to the open air restaurant for a quick lunch. We had a front row table facing the beach. Our server took our drink tickets and returned with shortly with two fruit punch (others in our tour group spent 15 minutes at the bar trying to redeem 3 tickets and was only able to get a single sprite). A shared club sandwich with fries came within 15 minutes of sitting down. The club was two small sandwiches on baguette bread, perfect for sharing. The fries were crispy and very tasty (must be the oil used). While pricey, the lunch was good.

This is a cruise ship haven so time it to go when the cruise shippers are not there. Its a bit pricey for a family $10 chair $10 umbrella per person but the beach and ocean are fabulous and their are tons of water sports you can pay to do. Tubing, Jet Skiing, etc. We had a great day at their beach. Go to the bar for drinks, the waitress service on the beach is not very friendly, nice or good. My worst drink was from the waitress instead of going to the bar and you have to pay cash on the beach, she won't accept credit card (probably because she doesn't want to walk back). Locals come to use the beach around 2-3pm so a different vibe later in the day. You kind of feel like you are invading their space. Still I recommend for one day on your trip.

We were on a celebrity cruise and following reviews on trip advisor came here. You pay upon entry for the chairs etc $10 per item with a wrist band. The beach was very clean, bathroom areas were perfectly fine to use the only downside is the sand is nothing like any other Caribbean islands id compare the sand to builders sand with extra gravel. There is no service at the beds with food and drinks. Id still come back here but may try another area of the island for a comparison.

We didn’t actually eat at the restaurant but really loved the beach. It was only $4 each in the taxi from the cruise port and the driver even stopped for a photo opportunity. This is a resort so set up differently to other beaches. When you arrive there is a desk to decide what sunbeds, umbrellas etc that you want to hire. It was $30 for 2 beds and a brolly. The staff then fetch the mattresses for the beds but they are rather thin. The beach is not too overcrowded and the view was simply amazing. We only had a coffee and this was $7 each for a cardboard cup which was a bit expensive but the coffee was good. There are water sports available. Free WiFi on the beach was very good. I did not go in the water but it looked lovely and everyone seemed to be having a lovely time.

Stopped in St. Kitts on a cruise and heard about this beach club. After running the gauntlet of taxi drivers we found one that would take us for $7.00. You pay for umbrella and chairs but what a relaxing setting to spend the day. Bar drinks were excellent and we asked to the Shipwreck Restaurant for lunch which was great. The setting is a peaceful cove. Would definitely do this again.

The beach is one of the most beautiful on the island: golden sands, calm and clear water, easy to go in and out (no rocks) and even some nice spots for snorkeling. We paid 10 usd for each chair and another 10 usd for the umbrella. Services and food did not impress at all.. no towels included (you need to pay extra if you want to rent), no drinks service on the beach (you need to go every time to the bar and pay on the spot as they do not accept to open a bill and close at the end of the day). We decided to have pizza for lunch and it was really disappointing. Very thick (the frozen and heated kind), questionable quality of ingredients and it took forever to get our order and to bring drinks and food. They have plenty of other options in the menu - I would avoid pizza.. Another annoying thing: construction workings are ongoing just next door. So.. instead of hearing the waves and enjoying the fresh-air, you get lots of noise and dust.

During a recent trip to SKB we were able to dine at Carambola as it was preparing to reopen to the public. During the pandemic the club was doing only special events, but we arrived not knowing that. Lucky for us they were doing a soft opening night and we were able to taste test the new menu being launched. Service and food quality were spot on. Ownership was overly friendly. Must do while on the island.

Visited here in a taxi from the port. The beach was nice and the toilet and shower facilities were lovely. We visited the restaurant which looked impressive but I found the service slow and unfriendly I ordered a watermelon salad £18 dollars my wife ordered a plate of French fries 8 dollars ,a sprite and a coca cola which was 3.5 or 4 dollar. The water melon salad was tiny with a few pieces of melon some crumbs of feta and some balsamic. Over the last two weeks I've had great food on various carribean islands but this was a joke. I felt completely exploited as with taxes this was 40 dollars and then another dollars for sunbeds .St Kitts is a beautiful island and very reasonable around the port but I would choose a different beach/beach club . On a separate note I can't believe how many lazy tourists leave their rubbish by their loungers for the staff to clear away

We were pleasantly surprised by our visit to Carambola Beach Club. Highly recommend making a reservation in advance - this gave us front row chairs and umbrella which was appreciated due to the beach being rather crowded. Beautiful beach and calm water. Staff was friendly and beer was cheap ($3 each). Snorkeling wasn’t the best but they do offer water sports if you’re looking for an activity. We walked down the beach to Shipwreck Beach for lunch and visit with the monkeys. We’d return if we visit St. Kitt’s in the future.

This restaurant continues to have some of the best food at reasonable prices after the pandemic. We had the price fix menu and the quality and quantity of food was excellent. The atmosphere and service was also excellent. I would also highly recommend their beach

We visited off of a cruise ship January 2023. We took a taxi from the centre of town ($20) just by approaching a guy with a taxi sign. He took us there and we arranged to pick us up at a time in the afternoon ( we waited an extra 15 minutes, he did not show so found another driver). We have been coming to this club for 10 years. The water is excellent, clear and views spectacular. You can bring a snorkel mask and look at fish or take a walk along the long long beach. Or just rent a chair and umbrella and read a book. The servers were quick and friendly and so was the guy who set up our chair. He was helpful and attentive. The only annoyance was that some idiots came with towels , bought a bucket of beer and proceeded to set up in front of some of the paid lounges. How rude. The washrooms could use some work, so make sure you have your shoes on. But the views and clear water make up for any negatives. The beach is shallow , but there is an incline to enter the water but even the elderly can make it with a helping hand. Enjoy

The 4 of us as foodies ate here and had the sushi. We have ate at other places but this was by far the best sushi we had. The staff was very attentive to our needs and the sushi chiefs were very proud there work. Plus the views are breat taking. You can not go wrong here.

We loved it, great sun loungers, great location. We paid $30 US for the use of the facilities available. Drink prices very reasonable by UK standards, comparable in fact. Bar manager very friendly and chatty, some other staff members could have done with an attitude adjustment though. Food great and was able to eat at the bar which was nice, less formal. Off the beaten track and we took a taxi to get there and back. Beautiful shallow waters, idyllic in fact. Highly recommend.

We celebrated our anniversary here! The views are spectacular. We plan to come back here and use the beach during the day as they have comfy chairs, umbrellas and lunch/drink service. The staff is polished and professional. The menu is vast including sushi, a prefix menu and a regular menu and of course some delicious wine. We choose the regular menu with two yummy appetizers of salt fish and shrimp cocktail. For dinner, my husband had the filet with mashed potatoes and veggies and I had the seafood pasta: amazing! Carambola treated us to dessert with champagne. It was a lovely experience from start to finish and we plan to go back and enjoy it multiple times during our next visit.
