Delicious rolls and great service! My favorite restaurant at the Ritz Carlton in grand cayman. We were a group of 8 and everyone enjoyed there food and drinks.

Some of the freshest sushi next to our last Hawaii visit. We ate here 3 of our 4 nights, it was that good -- one night in the club, one night in a cool booth and the last night at the sushi bar. Service outstanding....More
My friend and I went out for dinner and she decided to spring for the chef's special sushi selection. I have no idea what we ate, but it was seven courses of amazing deliciousness - from soup to sushi to dessert. The service was friendly...More
Definitely a tourist trap. Don't waste your money if you want authentic Japanese cuisine. Ramen was soggy and bland, absolutely not worth 20USD. Edamame was acceptable, nothing special. Only good thing is they were very accommodating to one in our party who did not like...More
High quality sushi. Fresh tableside ground wasabi which I rarely see. Salmon belly, particularly tender. At the Ritz Carlton I expect great food and great service, but our server Joel was particularly good. He had a certain enthusiasm for the menu that made us excited...More
Great welcome service, at the entrance gave you few choice of setting, including nice comfortable boots and community table. The 5 course menus is a must and quality price the winner in the Island. Don't miss the Hamachi tartare and the chocolate dessert, to die for.

Unbelievably delicious food. I had the Omakse tasting menu twice. Our family enjoys Japanese food and Taikun is at the top of our favorites list. Outstanding friendly service and the fresh grated wasabi (grated on sharkskin) was super special. The presentation of the dishes were...More
We generally have a rule on vacation..."don't eat at the hotel." There's a reason for this. Typically overpriced, average food and more often than not uninspired service. Taikun fit the mantra to a T. Service was slow and without any grace or enthusiasm, prices were...More
The food was terrific, the service was great and the atmosphere was great. They used fresh wasabi root. The fish used in the sushi was very fresh. If you're in Grand Cayman it's the best eating experience you can have if you like sushi.
