We always order our curry from Gateway as its consistently delicious and the service always excellent. We are also trying to support our local businesses now more than ever. We ordered lamb roganjosh which comes with rice, poppadoms, a side of chutney and this came in under 30 minutes. The food was delicious as always. We will continue to order from Gateway of India- you should too!

This is a delivery-only restaurant, so there's nothing to say about ambience or location.
The food, however, is delicious. I've tried the food at Pani and Southern Spice - both fine, but I prefer the food here.
Portion size is good and delivery is reliable.

I have been going to Gateway for years - I miss the sit in restaurant but was very happy to hear when it closed that take out food would still be available from another location as the food is very good. We usually pick it up but have used the delivery service too and it is very good. I have eaten Indian food all over the World and some of our friends are Indians who cook for us and I can confirm that this is delicious authentic Indian food.

Ordered on Bento: chicken vindaloo. Sauce, rice, raita, chutney all great. Chick in the dish was hard and juiceless. It sucked really. If you cannot cook chicken breast properly, don't cook it at all. Use thigh meat and you will get a better result.

The food is good. Best Indian on island. As they are a delivery only restaurant you would think they would have sufficient delivery drivers to at least deliver on time. Order your food 2 hours before you want it. Seriously.

We ordered takeout and both dishes were salty but bland. Didn’t taste like chicken tikka or saagwalla. Not even the right colour. The rice and naan were good.
There are better places to get Indian food from on island. Never again.

We are sorry to here you had a disappointing meal the recipes and chefs pride themselves on there cooking and we don't get complaints about the food.
It would be nice to give our food another try.

After reading the reviews for this place, we weren't so sure about eating here. Buuut being unable to pass up the opportunity to binge eat Indian food, we bit the bullet...
We lived. Not only that, we really liked it! They gave us a ton of crisp papadam and the butter chicken was awesome! The saag paneer was good, but had a distinct cinnamon flavor to it. (From what I've heard and some of the dishes we ate on our vacation, it would appear that cinnamon is commonly used in Caribbean cooking. This would not be my preference, but it certainly didn't stop me from feeding my face).

Great take out or delivery for a night at home. The Chicken Makhani (aka Butter Chicken) is the best I've ever had. Make sure to get some garlic Naan to go with it.

The gateway is now a takeout restaurant in Cayman business park - they do deliver it that is what you want. We had all vegetarian options with samosa, lentil dhal and a veg tomato curry, Nan and paratha- it was all delicious. The guy in the front desk was helpful, felt it was a bit of a surprise to him that we walked in, but everything was good. Rice came with curry as did popadum, the meal was big enough for the next day as well. We would go again but maybe order delivery next time!

Although we had to wait a lot longer than the 45 minutes to an hour they predicted, the food was still hot and very tasty. They are delivery only and the prices are a little high, but that includes the delivery. We had lots to go around ordering two dishes for 3 people and adding some naan and garlic naan.
