We always visit Coco Maya at least once on our trips. As always we had a very fun evening. We reserved the semi-private deck for dining which was worth it. I felt the service was better here. CocoMaya was at the top of my list for restaurants to visit in the BVI. First off, the location and atmosphere of the restaurant is awesome. It is beautifully laid out on the beach, with games, fire pits, etc and there was a live DJ...on a packed Tuesday night. It felt like it was the place to be for all ages. Service was also top notch, which is something that is hit or miss in the BVI. Unfortunately the food and drinks did not live up to the hype. Most of the dishes were average. Sushi rice was gummy and not flavored well, which was very disappointing. Our medium rare steak was cooked medium well. Drinks also lacked flavor and seemed watered down. If you live in a big city like NYC, a typical Asian fusion restaurant would be superior in both food and drinks. Even after all this however I would still recommend CocoMaya to anyone visiting the BVI. The energy and ambiance here is hard to beat and should be experienced at least once. 3.5 rounded to 4.More

This place is PHENOMENAL! It is a tapas restaurant which allows to share many different dishes. Everything was fresh & hot (when appropriate). The sushi was so delicious!!! Everyone was pleased.

I couldn't love this restaurant more. It has the best ambiance and incredible food. My favorite part is the swings at the bar and the fire pits. Do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant immediately.

We ate at Coco Maya three times while staying on VG and it was brilliant each time. The venue and setting offer outstanding views of the sunset. The chefs have produced a varied and interesting menu, making choices difficult and food envy a likely event...on your table. Bar staff can rustle up some funky cocktails and when we visited they had a resident DJ who made the atmosphere really enjoyable.More

Beautiful restaurant in the most stunning setting - definitely an experience. If we didn’t have the kids with us, we probably would have hung out out all night. Food was OK. A few recommendations to turn some of the dishes we had from OK to...superb: - Pork bao buns: could use much less sauce and a bit more acid, more pickled veggies - Thai crunchy salad: peanut dressing was overwhelmingly pasty in texture so the salad was not very refreshing; less peanut + more lime juice and a dash of fish sauce would make a huge difference - Pad Thai: this was inedible for us as the noodles were way overcooked to the point of being mushy. Easy fix. Other than that, would recommend the Cocomaya experience to any visitor to the island.More

We were in with couples. We try 80% o menu and everything was good!! Duck drumlins, skirt steak was my favorites with the Key Lime Pie. And the service was incredible too.

My family had two great meals here! The food was delicious and so were the drinks. All the servers were friendly and helpful. They even had a full vegan menu which my sisters loved!

When traveling with my family we always try to find places that accommodate all of our dietary needs while also giving us a great experience in our destinations. The DJ and food were both amazing! Will go back whenever in BVI! We explored The Baths, and then anchored near CoCoMaya for the evening. Had the best dinner and dancing!
