This place I saw yesterday in the afternoon. It was mobbed. Our boat was moored at Leverick Bay, so we took a water taxi (free but we gave a generous tip) that took us through the very (unusually) choppy sea to Saba Rock. Once there it was crowded, essentially by people whose boat was moored nearby. A large open air... More

Had drinks and lunch at the bar and definitely some of the best food in the BVI's! Chicken wings were done perfectly and the grilled mahi sandwich was excellent as well. Friendly bartenders and great, strong mojitos and other fun island drinks. Caught the free ferry from Gun Creek, although that service seems a bit haphazard, best to ask the... More

In order to get to Saba Rock, you either have to have your own boat or you can call and catch the Saba Taxi Ferry from Leverick Bay. When you arrive, be prepared to be amazed with its heavenly views, fresh delicious food and wonderful cocktails. I tried the ranch BBQ chicken burger with chips and their signature Mexicana Saba... Saba Rock is incredible! A group of 9 headed to Gun Creek and caught the Saba Rock ferry to this wonderful place. A very popular stop for sailboats and cats this bar and grill is somewhere I could stay all day. It is a small island just off the tip of VIrgin Gorda. It is just across the water from... More

We loved the ambience at Saba Rock. Lively bar, great setting, terrific waterfront dining. Protected from the strong breeze but right on the water, this is a great place for dinner. We ordered from the menu, though we were tempted by the expansive buffet. The salad bar was a nice start and my mahi mahi was very good. Dessert was... More

We chartered a bare-bones yacht and had to make a stop at Bitter End yacht club. Before heading over to Bitter End, we grabbed dinner at Saba Rock. It's a little island that hosts a beautiful open-space restaurant and bar. You tie your dinghy off right in front. The water around the dock was lit up so you can see... More

Absolutely beautiful. Seriously wonderful little beach, hammocks, cute bar area. Aesthetics are wonderful. We only got drinks at the restaurant so I cannot speak to the food. However you need to really be prepared for island time. Very very very slow service. Drinks are over-priced.

We tried to stay at Saba Rock but everything was sold out. Came out for lunch and spent the afternoon in the hammock on their little beach. Food was expensive, but good and good variety. Stayed for happy hour. Fun to see the tarpon feeding. Easy free water taxi to/from Virgin Gorda.
