Enjoyed the ambience, service, and excellent meal for dinner at Sugar Mill. Even the veranda where we waited for our table to be ready made us feel like we were on a southern plantation! Caribbean lobster and curried chicken with banana chutney were amazing. Make...More

We ate at the Restaurant for 3 nights and the only reason we didn't eat on the 4th night was that we were out with friends. The food is simply outrageously good and the service attentive and efficient. The fresh lobster cooked any way you...More

From all the great reviews this restaurant gets we expected better. The restaurant is cramped with way too many tables for the space. The food was only average with small portions and it was quite expensive. The service was slow and not that friendly.More

Around xmas we threw out of the restaurant and banned for life a group of vulgar loudmouthed and abusive former patrons. They of course threatened to destroy us on Trip Advisor. But how about trying to make one original and not keep repeating the same...More

We had dinner at the SugarMill restaurant last week. Its a beautiful place but the dinning room was to crowded and we had to shout at the table to be able to communicate. Expectations about the food were high, but the reality was different. I...More

A rum baba is not made with a doughnut. The texture of the dough is denser. It was not stale as we make them fresh daily. Perhaps Krispy Kreme is more your thing.

We serve only one size of lobster at the Sugar Mill. Those with an uncooked weight of approximately 2lbs. These are considered to taste better than bigger, older lobsters and cost 25% more per lb to buy than bigger examples. The Sugar Mill is the...More

This use to be our favourite 'special occasion' restaurant on Tortola but sadly is has lost it's romance and charm. Our experience last year was far superior. There are far too many tables in the restaurant now, service was extremely slow and the food uninspiring....More
