This might have been the most wonderful dining experience I’ve ever had. The food was exquisite and service beyond exemplary! Thank you!

Under new management. Physically, the setting is beautiful. Tucked away from the bustle of Grand Case, this restaurant and boutique hotel offer fine French dining. It is quite expensive, and the portions are moderate, not overwhelming. Staff very attentive. Menu is more unusual, but that...was what we were looking for. Food was delicious, both the meal, as well as the creative and delicious creme brulee and chocolate “glaze” dome for dessert. Relaxing and romantic atmosphere. Recommend highly for those who want an elegant special dinner. Parking is ample just outside this secluded restaurant.More
Wonderful Meal and Beautiful Eclectic Setting. The food was beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned and well prepared. We sat on one of the outdoor verandas and enjoyed the gentle breeze from the fans overhead. Service was very good. I’ve read some of the earlier reviews and...I’d suggest to give this restaurant another try. Was hands down one of the best meals we’ve had on the island.More
The restaurant was lovely and we were seated a a round table with 5 people. The staff was very attentive and very accommodating. The lobster bisque delicious and the presentation amazing. The lobster ravioli was wonderful and the lamb chops so of the best I...have ever eaten. We were told that it would be a special meal and it lived up to our expectations.More
We had an amazing meal and enjoyed celebrating my hisband's birthday. Jeremy was so attentive and the lobster bisque was the best ever.
We thank you for your feedback. We hope to see you a next time. Team Sol E Luna
Our food was nice but the service was abysmal. The experience started with the waiter taking away our wine menu before even providing us with a food menu - I am not sure how we are meant to select our wines before knowing what we...are eating. We were not offered bread at all - we eventually asked after our steaks had been served and it was delivered cold and without butter. We declined foie gras on our steaks and were told we should be willing to try new foods. We asked for some tomato sauce for our fries but were told they only offered good food. We were not asked how our food was - my steak was medium (perhaps even medium to well done) and I had ordered medium rare. No one replenished our water glasses or asked if we would like another drink. We were so disappointed with the service that we did not stay for dessert and coffee. Unfortunately, our 18th wedding anniversary dinner coincided with our most disappointing dinner in St. Martin.More
Dear Robert, We are sorry for this experience. Team Sol E Luna
My husband and I went to Sol e Luna for lunch not expecting much, but heard great things. The experience was beyond our expectations PLUS. We were greeted as soon as we walked up the stairs, they brought over the lunch menu and translated it...to English for us (It was in French). My husband had the fish tartare and I had the goat cheese appetizer, delicious and full of flavor. I had the grouper and my husband had the steak and for dessert we had the chocolate cake. Overall, some of the most flavorful and great food. Service was great too. Highly recommend.More
Hard to find, but well worth it. The restaurant is BEAUTIFUL! The manager, Jeremy was very gracious, doting, and knowledgeable. We ordered Beef Tataki as an appetizer....DELICIOUS!!! The restaurant followed that with a small glass of a tomato and herb dish, just as part of...their service. It too was fantastic tasting. My wife and I ordered a Beef main course. Without dispute, the best cut of meat that either one of us has ever had. We are NOT foodies, just everyday people who enjoy nice restaurants and in our opinion, this meal was TOTALLY worth it. We finished our meal with dessert and again, we both agreed that our desserts were outstanding. I don't remember the name of the chocolate dessert that she had, but she swooned over it. I had roasted pineapple with homemade coconut ice cream (to die for!!!). Yes, it is expensive, but the service was great, location was beautiful, the restaurant itself was romantic, so was it worth it? MOST DEFINITELY. I am so glad that a friend recommended this establishment. More than we ever expected.More
We had dinner here with our family, on the lovely veranda amidst beautiful palms and plants. The dinner was absolutely delicious! Attentive service, great atmosphere, we can highly recommend it.
We’ve been coming to Sol e Luna for many years under several different owners. We were looking forward to our visit last night but left with a very indifferent attitude after last night’s experience. The food and service was just ok but be prepared to...open your wallet. Very expensive for what you get.More
