We are very particular Superyacht crew who are used to fine dining cuisine, we have been coming to the Palms for years now and love everything on the menu we have tried, it really is our go too eatery while in SXM. Greg and Jo remember everything about their guests and accommodate most our requests even the unreasonable ones. No... More

This is our third trip to St Maarten and it wouldn't be complete without a visit to The Palms. There were six of us this time ,money person had never been to St Maarten before Greg and Jo are gracious and welcoming hosts....Greg is known for his drunken ribs...which are meaty, fall off the bone and delicious ...two of us... I was the first one there and stayed late. Food and service were great! I had the Pao for an appetizer, a few sangrias, and the baby back ribs. Let's just say I could hardly move after that dinner. Also, the atmosphere was great.

Been here several times over the years. Don't let the size of the small kitchen fool you; this place turns out flavorful dishes, nice portions; good drinks with attentive friendly service. The owners are a young married couple original from Canada where he studied at Culinary school. Absolute must haves: the drunken ribs (marinated for 3days) and the meatloaf. I... More

Went here for lunch on a recommendation of a couple we met in our condo complex on Simpson Bay. He could not stop raving about how fabulous the service and food were. He said it's all fresh, no preservatives and made to order, which means the wait is well worth it. Well he was right on! We stopped by for... More

Decided to try The Palms for dinner after reading some of the reviews. What a pleasant friendly place. Our waitress, whom I think is married to Greg, one of the owners, was very personable and gave wonderful recommendations. The owners were originally from Trinidad and so the restaurant advertises being international Caribbean. This is reflected in some of the menu... More

My wife and I ate here on our visit last year and knew we had to bring our friends next time. Walking by you would not expect much, but the food is worth the visit. I was hoping they had meatloaf because it was the best I have ever had, but the drunken ribs were an amazing choice as well.... More

When I heard Greg knows how to make a good curry I had to try it! The curry chicken was delish! I was pleased with the size of my meal for the price I paid. This restaurant is quaint and everyone is very friendly. It was nice to sit on the patio and people-watch. Both Greg & Jo had a... More

This is one of our top two places to eat on the island. It is not fancy by any means, but the food is delicious, the portions are good, the prices are very reasonable, and Greg and Jo couldn't be nicer. They post their lunch menu on a chalkboard out front. For dinner they have a paper menu. Their prices... More
