More basic than the Bartolomeo (food, wine selection) but nice. Great for lunch on the beach. They are only open for dinner during the specialty evenings (Wednesday is Asian, Thursday is BBQ). Friendly staff, good food. Less romantic than the Bartolomeo, but still nice (it is also the breakfast restaurant for the hotel.

Our stay at le Guanahani resort included the excellent breakfast everyday at l'Indigo restaurant. We also are most every lunch there, and we enjoyed several dinners. Somehow this energetic and mostly French staff managed to balance the experience of a hotel restaurant with the beauty and variety of an upscale beach-front dining experience. We had dinner here three or four... More

Finally decided to try the lunch at our hotel, Guanahani, and was pleasantly surprised-the special fish tartare and ceviche were one of the freshest of the vacation. Nice to relax on the beach under modern tented tarps with the nice breezes and beautiful views.

The buffet breakfast is very good at L'indigo, the lunch is just ok, but if you are staying at Le Guanahani, there aren't any other choices for lunch except room service. The menu selection is uninspired and the food is average. You cannot eat on the beach, but the tables are set in the sand during lunch. The BBQ was... More

Fancying having lunch somewhere with a sea view, we called in at Guanahani. However, as I wasn’t in the mood for paying 32 Euros for a Cheeseburger we just went to the beach bar for some drinks instead. The view is lovely and the water looked very inviting and the staff servicing at the bar were very friendly. Prices were... More

The breakfast buffet is lovely. Fresh fruits, cheeses and the croissants pure French. Cheeseburger delicious. Dinners were fair. If you like unique French faire, then you will love it. We wished the menu had more traditional options for dinner. Tapas menu was nice. Shrimp cocktail was delicious. They do offer a 5 course romantic dinner on the beach. Scenery can't... More

We stayed at Le Guanahani and had lunch or small meals everyday. Casual beachfront location, under cover, toes in the sand with views of the ocean and lagoon beaches. Good food options ranging from ceviches, salads, pastas, sandwiches and grilled fish & meat, all with picturesque presentation.

Have been coming to SBH for about a decade, and lunch on the beach at Indigo/Guanahani is one of the very few things we do twice while here for 7-10 days. The food is fresh and consistent. We don't understand where previous posters are coming from about the staff, who we find to be fantastically attentive and friendly. The beach... More

L'Indigo is positioned between two perfect beaches, dotted with palm trees. Not only is the setting stunning but no expensive has been spared on making the restaurant look glamorous and beautiful, sails attached to the palm trees afford shade and with wicker lanterns strung overhead it must be very romantic in the evening too. Lunch caters for all tastes and... More

During a very relaxing week long trip to St Marten, my husband and I took a boat trip to St Barth's. We asked a few locals including our cab driver, to take us to a resort where we could experience all St Barth's is known for. A place that would welcome us even though we would be only spending the... More
