I asked our tour guide to take us somewhere for something fun to eat. He took us here and we had delicious sweet treats and good strong coffee. It was great.

We came last night, and went for the Presidents choice. My son and I both loved it! We're back for breakfast :) This is the locals spot, enjoy!

Displays are visually appealing! Coffee not great. Appears clean and sanitary. The fact POTUS visited (and proximity to Dreamcatcher B&B) motivated our going to check it out. Value for price paid not great. It's pretty busy with locals and I value getting some time for conversation.

this place is ok, the sandwiches are generally pretty plain. i had the cubano, and it was on white bread, cheap cheese, deli meat, and a jarred pickle. the coffee is pretty good. i get obama ate there, i sat next to his engraved table. but all in all, unless you're in the area, not worth making a trip.

If you feel particularly hungry in the morning, on the way to the office or to your first appointment, stop at Kasalta. The great coffee will wake you up and then order an omelet or a ham and cheese sandwich. That should keep you till lunch time. If you don't care about your sugar levels or are not in a... More

We had a voucher for breakfast from our hotel when we stayed there in Feb. 2015. We got a tiny cup of HOT coffee, pancakes (only thing in English on the menu) and hard toast. Very long line, lots of seats but all taken (had to wait and go for it when some freed up) and very rushed at the... More

Kasalta is a very well known bakery / breakfast / sandwich shop frequented by locals 7 days a week. Try the Oatmeal, Flan (w/ cheese) and sandwiches. It's a little pricey, but well worth it for travellers who want to experience a bit of life with the Locals.
