I used to go often to this rest. but the chef was fired by the owner and the quality went down. In my most recent visit it is a little better but still average, the principal problem is that the plates are almost tasteless. Service was very friendly and the setting is elegant. They should get a new chef.

Amazing food prepared by Chef Michele. The black rice calamari, the scallops (U-10) stuffed with truffle on a bed of orange risotto was inspired in its creation. Many dishes on the menu were unique in their construction and presentation was excellent. Deserts were average, but who could eat desert. The cost was very reasonable for such excellence. Easy to get... More

We recently had the pleasure of dining at this fabulous restaurant in Viejo San Juan. We travel a lot and I can confidently report that Panza is as good as any world class restaurant we have ever visited. The kitchen is definitely upscale, and is imaginative without drifting into the realm of the bizarre. For a starter my wife and... More

Excellent food, excellent service!!! My wife & I were looking on TripAdvisor for a nice place and decided to try Panza. Very happy we did. The location is great, we ate outside and enjoyed the people walking by, and the music from the cars of the locals as they cruised the strip! She ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, which was... More

We were 7 people and everyone ended up very satisfied with the food and service. The only negative issue I see with this restaurant is that Chef Maldonado has long hair and we could see him cooking in his kitchen with his hair hanging over his face while cooking which made me wonder if this was unsanitary. Also, they were... More

Went last night to celebrate my wife's B-Day. Couldn't ask for a better meal, service, or time. Since the moment we walked in we were treated like family. From the waiter, bartender, to Chef Maldonado. We started with the lobster bisque and Cervantes trio, both superb. For main entree we had the shrimp/sausage risotto and the lamb loin chops. The lamb... More

We ate dinner at Panza during our mid-March trip to Puerto Rico. It was recommended by the concierge at the Ritz and I was a little skeptical when we walked in because there was only one other table filled. We sat down and spent the next 2 hours enjoying every course and and the highly attentive service. My Margarita was... More

My wife & I had a wonderful dinner last evening. Lobster bisque, delicious sea bass & a lamb loin chop. All fabulous. Chef Pete Maldonado was great as were 2 of his servers Juan Carlos & Sheila. We'll soon return. A gem. Vic B.

I had the stuffed scallops (a specialty of the house). Delicious! My fiancé had the filet. The chef was very accommodating in altering the dish to meet her dietary request! Delicious! The entire staff greeted us warmly! My fiancé had a "Puerto Rican Kiss" - the bartenders original drink. I'm not one for such drinks but this was phenomenal! Coffee... More
