Visited this location twice and the food and service was amazing both times. Their skirt stake was delicious and really filling. I got the recommendation from a local and was not steered wrong!!

My wife and I ate breakfast there every day while in Old San Juan, good food, great oatmeal and strong coffee (it will definitely open your eyes) I had eggs, bacon and toast almost every day, it was always good. We also ate lunch there and had the grouper, it was outstanding, with rice and beans. Prices were hard to... More

Café Manolin was a recommendation from a park ranger at Castillo de San Cristobal when we asked for a favorite of the locals. It was the perfect place to grab lunch in Old San Juan. We explained to our waiter what we wanted and the fact that I can't handle spicy foods. He made two excellent recommendations - Mofongo relleno... More

I took the family to lunch at Manolin in Old San Juan. I had the Empañada de la Milanesa de Pollo and my wife had the Pollo en Fricase . My kids had chicken strips and fries. We arrived at about 11:30 and were easily seated at the counter. By noon there was a line out the door. Service was... More

We stopped in to try Mofongo. Had a great experience where the waiter explained the local fare to us and we sat next to several locals.

This is a good place for a quick breakfast. The coffee was good and the food was decent. The only thing they could have done better is turn down the a/c it was freezing.

We found this restaurant on trip advisor when planning our visit to Puerto Rico. We wanted to try some food at a place the locals would visit. We were not disapointed as we got to try some Mofongo, a first for us. It was pretty busy during the lunch hours but we only had a few minutes wait before being... More

A charming local diner in Old San Juan. We had breakfast: eggs-grilled cheese-tea. The food is good, cheap, and is served quickly. Great if you're hungry and in a hurry.
