I don't know if I've seen avocados that big before! Not only does this place have great mofongo and plantain chips and cups, but the stuffed avocados are SO amazing! A great place to get your fill of the tastes of San Juan. Can't wait until we can go back!

Great restaurant serving authentic Puerto Rican dishes. I had the avocado shrimp dish and it was one of the best tasting avocados I've eaten.

Nice ambiance with the local crafts all around. Very good food, good selection of healthy plates. Nice cocktails. We enjoyed the grilled fish, staffed avocados, salads. Our waitress was smelling very strong alcohol , but she was friendly and nice and did not mess up our orders, so not a big deal. The crab meat stuffed avocado was not so... More

In the old town, you have to hunt to find this place and it is well worth it, buried behind a cool local art gallery, this treasure of a casual restaurant has terrific local food, aromatic flavors, great service from friendly, knowledgeable wait people, and a lovely shot glass of passion fruit island anise drink as well.

Service was friendly and super helpful. The food was amazing. We totally recommend the skirt steak over crispy cassava. I don't eat much red meat, but this was tender and flavorful and delicious - the crispy cassava is like a deep fried mashed potato cup - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Really really good. Everything was... More

After all the locals we asked for recommendations on where we could get authentic food kept suggesting continental chains, we used TripAdvisor and found Cafe El Punto. It is hands down the best food in Old San Juan. It's in the back of a tiny indoor alley (blink and you'll miss it) with painted, crumbling walls and antique wood. The... More
