Nested in the heart of the Historic Hotel El Convento, Patio del Nispero offers the perfect setting for a casual breakfast, lunch, Puerto Rican tapas, cocktails or a romantic dinner. A "must visit" during your visit in Puerto Rico.
I'm not sure if they got a new chef in 2019, because older reviews seem positive, but this was so bad I can barely even believe it happened?
When we began our room service order the person on the phone was confused — turns out...More
On our last night in PR our family was looking for a nice ambiance which this hotel has, but that is all they have. Drink orders took over 25 minutes to arrive, appetizers were dropped at the same time as entrees (which was 1.5 hours...More
Worst restaurant, food and service I have ever had. Appetizers came with the meal instead of prior. Soups came with no spoon. We waited an hour and a half for our food. They didnt have the burger or the chicken on the menu after we...More
Had to ask the waitress 3 times for service. Waited for more than 22 minutes to order 4 drinks. And customer service is not one of their strongest points here. No apologies once they arrived to take our order. Unbelievable!!!
While a limited choice, everything we selected was delicious. The mint ice cream tasted like it was made with real mint. In the evening the coquís are chirping away. Best of all the servers are warm and welcoming.
We found this restaurant thanks to Trip Advisor. It’s inside a hotel and has a wonderful outdoor courtyard sitting. We practiced our Spanish speaking with our waiter and he was able to practice his English. Our meal was delicious and we really enjoyed the atmosphere....More
We are locals and love going to san juan , we never thought patio to be this good! Ended here by accident avoiding the rain! Wow very good lunch super tasty and good prices too! So happy it rained, definitely coming back!
Ate in the courtyard for lunch. Menu was small but the items offered covered everything from salads to seafood, and even hamburgers. I can definitely recommend the seafood and rice for two, the pizza, and the burger, along with a tasty mojito.
Cab can't be more than $10. It's also a lovely walk and you should walk a lot in Old San Juan. The city is small and delightful. I don't think you will need a reservation but you could call ahead just to feel better.
