Coronation Bakery is a must for those who want a taste of true Jamaican bread. Don't skimp...buy a 5 pounder hard dough bread and take back to your home. Keep it in the fridge. Nibble for weeks with hot Blue Mountain coffee and real butter....simple pleasures postpone wicked thoughts.

If you get to Port Antonio, Jamaica you must stop by Coronation Bakery about midday when the grotto bread comes out of the oven. Unreal! Hot buttery bread! Couldn't stop eating it. They also have 5lb hardo breads that are so good. Not to be missed!

Do yourself a favor and buy a loaf of the Grotto bread. It's a round uncut loaf of mouthwatering buttery deliciousness. Just thinking about it now makes me want to return to Jamaica to get a loaf.

Love this bakery. If bread pudding is available, get it!! It's like a banana bread slice, but heavily moist, if that makes sense. Their parties are excellent too. Prices are great and the employees there were great.

The Coronation Bakery's hard dough bread is the best I've had. It was fresh. We didn't wait to get home to get butter, before we started savoring its warm, delicious goodness.

This is an iconic part of Jamaica. I think they have shops in Kingston too, but not the same. there is the downtown outlet and I think now 2 other places on the road out of town. All the stuff is authentic. The meat patties are excellent but get before noon, ..otherwise.... dem all finish. there are so many things.... More

Wish we had eaten there sooner than we had. Dining in Port Antonio is very expensive otherwise. Enjoyed the ackee and saltfish dish as well as fresh callalou.
