Great meal & service

My family and I had a wonderful meal at La Yola. Jean Carlos was our server, and he welcomed us with a huge smile. He had awesome recommendations (get the eggplant app, it was fantastic) and helped make our night enjoyable. We were a group...of 12, so it was difficult I am sure to get all of our attention, but he handled us with perfection. The restaurant has an amazing ambiance, right at the marina, and everyone raved about their meals! I cannot forget about the drinks...they too were delicious.More

Honestly amazing

The service was amazing, + the food everyone was so kind and loving. Even if you’re waiting due to the restaurant being full, they make you feel welcomed and cared for. Shout out to Willy, Yobani, & Jaime! Their service was beautiful. Both me and...my mothers phone was dead and we had no GPS/guide home. They found a charger for us & kindly put our phones to charge. Definitely recommend peaceful, soft music, awesome service. 10/10.More

The best

My #1 spot in Punta Cana. The best restaurant, service, ambience, food and view. The service staff is very professional and friendly. Jean Carlos was the absolute best, I was sitting by myself and he made feel comfortable and welcome. He is the best!

Great date night and service from Jorge

Had a night out with my wife leaving the kids with childcare. The location is romantic on the waterfront. The ambience is a thatched type roof with typical wooden interior. Rattan chairs and white table cloth. Octopus and shrimp were excellent and very very fresh....I’d say our apps, desert, and service, and the ambience were all 5/5. Mains were fine but not extraordinary - 4/5. Definitely recommend. Especially the mamajuana traditional local swill (they bring the suspect looking jar of hooch with unrecognizable herbs inside, but anyone who is a fan of herbal liquors, hot toddies, or mulled wine would enjoy).More

Not really flexible

On our last night we wanted to have dinner at la yola restaurant because it was also recommended to us. Unfortunately, the reservation team is not flexible. Even if the restaurant is full, there is always the possibility to get a table for 2 people....We are flexible and would have gladly accepted the waiting time.More

There is no dress code. We had dinner there. We wore casual clothes. I had on shorts and a collared shirt. Great food, service and views.
