I have never been a guest at the resort but have dined at Zamaan many times. It is open only for dinner and you have to tell security you will be going to the restaurant. The best time to go is March to August, during turtle season so after having a meal you can go for a walk on the... More

My wife and I ate here several times during our stay at the Rosalie Bay Resort and were very pleased. Setting: looking out at the beautiful Atlantic Coast is perfect setting. At night, it usually was too dark to appreciate the view. During the day, the view from Zamaan was amazing. Employees: All of the severs and cooks were very... More

We ate at Zamaan while we were staying at the resort. The food was great, beautifully seasoned, wonderfully cooked. Sometimes the kitchens creativity gets ahead of the guests need, so you ask for a tomato omlette and are provided with a tomato and onion omelette. Also if you aren't a garlic fan you should say so cause the chef loves... More

If you're staying at Rosalie Bay, this is the (and I mean the only) place to eat. Thank goodness it's really good! Service is excellent and the food is very, very good - although we found they were often out of things we wanted. Such is life in the rainforest. Highlights are the Creole Breakfast and the eggs benedict (with... More

We really enjoyed the three meals we had in this lovely restaurant. Good fish, cooked to perfection (which is quite difficult to find even in Europe!). Our request for local vegetables and spicy sauce were met with enthusiasm And all the dishes we tasted on the menu (we had appetizer, main & dessert every day) were delicious, well thought, and... The resort has a garden on sight where they grow a lot of the food they use in the restaurant. Everything is very fresh and very good. The chef does cooking lessons three nights a week, so you can learn to make some of your favorite dishes.

The evening specials were always a delight with their elegant presentation and delicious tastes. The fresh fruits and juices were also a perfect way to begin each day the "island way."
