Great food and drinks, but the head of staff sucks. Didn't want to solve our issue because he had a full house. Highly unproffesional and dispointing. :(

Food was decent with your traditional Cuban fares. Pricing was on the higher end but food taste was not par. Live band was a plus and beer selection was plenty.

It's small, you need to wait, it's hard to find a place to sit BUT mojito are what there are supposed to be. The perfection.

My favorite place en Holguin. The two Barman are amassing. Food is ok but there specialties are the cocktails.

It’s part of the history of Cuba so it is a must. Of course they count only of their reputation. Because the prices are so highly and the service is no that great.

Me and my husband came down on our honeymoon. Our waitress Jen recommended the Lonja Al Ajillo to eat and Mojitos to drink. It was so good that we ate there 4 times during our week stay! My husband said it was the best food...he’s ever eaten. Amazing food, great Mojitos and we made some new friends. Definitely check it out and get the Lonja Al Ajillo and Mojitos!More

Great place for a drink but too small. Atmosphere was great, music wasn't bad either. A must visit as a tourist

Definite tourist trap but fun place to hang and pound some mojitos. Was close to my flat so I made several visits. Fun atmosphere!

I have been here a few times and really enjoy the upstairs restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious. We had a lovely shrimp dish and a flat steak loaded with flavor. All the dishes come with rice and beans. There is also a bar and...a separate band upstairs, so walk up the narrow staircase, have a seat and settle in. We liked it so much that one day we had both lunch and dinner there. It is also a nice place to relax with an after meal drink and enjoy a cigar.More

If you are the sort of person who craves authenticity and shuns commercialised tourist traps with loads of people taking photos of themselves, the walls [!] and the waiters, then don't go! It is permanently crowded and nearly all of the customers are tourists, but...nevertheless we really liked it. The place simply has a great buzz and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the mojitos - much better than many reviews had suggested. The staff were lively and efficient and were quite unfazed by the drama when someone got locked in the loo - perhaps not an unknown occurrence? I don't know if you can reserve tables, but it would be a good idea if you can.More

I would say no. There are only 8 bar stools in an "L" shaped bar. It opens up onto the street. Many people get their drinks and stand outside to listen to the local music. Worth the trip. Try off hours and it might not be... More
