When we arrived in Havana, we discovered this cosy bar, where we were very surprised by the good quality of cocktails! They serve the best cocktails in whole Havana! Much better then Sloppy Joe or Hemmingway! Very friendly too!! Snipping a cocktail (or more ;-)...while enjoying a band playing non-Latin music is pleasant, certainly if you heard Guantanamera already 100 times :-) Unfortunately Corona messed up our holiday otherwise we would have returned to this bar... Greetings for Belgium!More

We got here our first day in Habana and came back twice. The reasons why: 1. The food is great, we had the best ropa vieja here, although it was a chicken not beef ropa vieja 2. Price of the food& drinks are very reasonable...3. The place is very relaxed and has a unique atmosphere 4. The staff is very helpfull and friendly So if you look for a budget meal with great drinks don't look any further! And you just have to try their daquiri which is 50% cheaper than at the famous Floridita or other popular bars but I bet just as delicious!More

We went there to have a dinner. Food and cocktails were good, live music too, but we waited quite a long time, even though there were just 2 other guests.

We went here for a a few drinks before dinner, it’s a small bar/restaurant. We sat at the bar next to the live band and where entertained watching the barman make cocktails and the band play music. It was lovely and chilled, the barman made...a mistake with one of the cocktails but we never said anything he then realised and made the correct cocktail allowing us to finish the one we had too which was a good touch. We also noticed that when he poured the cocktails when he opened a new bottle he would splash some rum on the floor, he folds this was some for the spirits.More

A cool bar with super friendly staff! We stopped in here twice in the afternoons for some nice cold drinks, the staff even let us leave our mark on the wall! Drinks were tasty and affordable. We didn't manage to stay at night for the...live music that went on, but I'm sure it's worth checking out if you have the time. We also did not have any food so cannot speak for the quality of the dishes.More

We were looking for somewhere with a couple vibe for some late dinner and boy did El Patchanka deliver. As we arrived a five piece band was just about to start thier set. We enjoyed the band so much we bought a CD. Everyone who...worked there were really helpful with the menu (in Spanish) and just overall attentiveness. A+ service. As for the food it was quite good. The pork skewers that I ordered were a highlight at the table. Overall a cool bar with good food and music. Definitely recommend.More

I dont know how this place has positive reviews. We visited for dinner, the food was mediocre, the service was appalling and the music would want you to leave this place immediately. On top they charge you a flat 1 CUC service tip plus you...have to tip the Musicians. Never going back. There are many other nicest places near the park.More

Opening to the Plaza Cristo, the bar is a bit of a dive but with great service and good drinks. Friendly people from the world over visited thruout the evening and was wonderful to enjoy so many great conversations. A trio played music with a...few different vocalists that completed the Cuban scene perfectly. Highly recommend!More

When you get sick of paying $5 cuc for mojitos and hearing Guantanamera for the tenth time, head over to El Patchanka. The bar is fairly 'hole in the wall', with a low key gritty look, a few flags hung here and there, the walls...covered with message written in pen by patrons, and behind the bar is a great mural appropriating the Sex Pistol's 'Frigging in the riggin' cover art. The place is by now means big, basically just a bar and several tables with a small kitchen in the back and a band playing at the front. The beers and cocktails are cheap, and the food is very good, with a greater variety of dishes, very cheap prices and manageable portions (so you can get a few dishes and generally graze). So a great change from the huge portions of overpriced black beans and overcooked lobster everywhere else offers! The band is also good, tending to jam around their own favourite songs before moving over to the all usual Cuban tourists standards later in the night. A great place to sit, have a drink, puff on a cigar, chat, listen to music and not get hassled.More

La Floridita did, La Bodeguita we visited in the day time but they had live music, El Dandy didn't but we were there early. To be honest there is music pretty much everywhere in Havana, you won't be hard pressed to find a... More
