A bit pricy for the quality of food that we got. The lobster was very dry and hard. Very nice black beans though. The waiter was not so friendly which gave us a bad impression.

I ordered the Ropa Vieja and it was very good. Food in Cuban restaurants can be ordinary but this was above average

Dona Eutimia Is a very traditional and historic Place. Dishes are really tasty and well cooked and served. Ropa vieja Is One of the best in cuba but Also lobster Is really delicious Meat and fish are both valid alternatives with regular prices. Furthermore the...location Is in the hearth of Havana vieja with special local people singing and dancing in the streetMore

Authentic food in the heart of Havana. This cute little restaurant is slightly hidden away off one of the main plazas. Very reasonably priced the staff were very attentive and the food was excellent. I would recommend the traditional lamb ropa vieja.

Great meal, well priced and service is excellent. Only cost us about 75 euros for three people for three courses (ask to pay in euro,as in all private cuban restaurants these days). The house Mojito frappe is to die for!

Our guide in old Havana recommended this place for dinner, and we decided to give it a try. It's located in a back alley in the old town, with a lot of similar looking restaurants near by. But choosing this one is a good choice....We had the ropa vieja, and it was just excelent, so was the beans and rice. Great atmosphere with the most charming street musicians in Havana standing right outside. We visited this place on our first night in Cuba, and ended up going back two weeks later, when our trip was coming to an end, just to experience that meal one more time. That's how good it was.More

Food was delicious, the starters, the main courses, and deserts, good variety, feels like eating old granma's food, made with lots of love. The Mamey and the Coconut Icecream made me go back, as well as the lamb "ropa vieja". Became one of my favorites...restaurants in Havana.More

This is a great place. Located in a cul de sac very near the cathedral and surrounded with the few restaurants stands this charming restaurant. Atmosphere is great ( at lunch time), live music playing, food is good, and prices very reasonable. Definitely recommend.

On the way to this restaurant there were lots of people trying to get you into their restaurants but not this one as there was no need. We got a nice table outside, the food was excellent, really tasty and very well presented. The service...was superb and we would definitely return. Cost us £29 for 2 people, which was for 2 starters, 2 mains & 1 G&T.More

Odds are Dona’s is a spot requiring more than one visit, because they offer too much. And that is to say nothing about their location, right in Old Havana, and just overall the feel of this place. This is precisely the kind of spot I’d...hoped to encounter when coming to Havana, a place that harkens back to the past and lets you glimpse the how delicious Cuban food can be. That they are so close to the Plaza is an added bonus.More

While Cuba is not known for their stellar restaurants, this one stood out with excellent "home style" meals and great service, and awesome frozen mojitos. Best beans we had on the trip, best milanesa and best roast pork. Can't say enough good things about it...- you may need a reservation if you plan to go around peak times.More

We had dinner there as was recommended by a local and good it was. We shared croquettes, fried chicken fajitas, ropa veijo all washed down with an excellent bottle of excellent Chilean wine. All at very reasonably prices.

Find their mail on their tripadvisor page and write them; that will be my first option if not yet in Cuba where it's better not to trust phone reservations but go personally

American dollars aren't popular in Cuba. You pay 10% extra costs when you change dollars. So better take other currency. In many hotels you can change, also at the bank. And of course at the airport, outside.
