Friendly staff and nice setting outdoors (indoor available too) in the plaza. We were fortunate to be there both times in the mid afternoon for some live music too. As a bill example we each had cevices, shared the salmon pasta and also bought water and 2 glasses of wine and the bill came to 30CUC. Would rate the food... More

We had just coffees here. Beer was off in respect to Castro! It's located just across the road from the cruise port. Worth making a bee line to while you avoid the touts and get your bearings. Silver service. Coffee was excellent. Gives you time to plan direction and next stop.

Was brought here for lunch by our walking tour guide Gio..looked like our group caught them by surprise...they moved some stuff around...most of the group was together but we were seated at a booth with 2 other people from our tour. Waiter brought out food and a drink...saw no menu and had no clue what we ate or drank. Food... More

We ran into this little restaurant to shelter from the ridiculous rain and decided to stay for lunch. The sandwiches were great value, there was live music and a welcome escape from Hemmingway.

Went for lunch as it was close to the end of our waling tour and looked ok. Lamb was on the menu but not available. Service a bit slow. A tourist group was rushed in and out whilst we were there. We have had much better in Cuba

Location is good, the rest is awful. There are so many great places to eat in old town Havana, this is not one of them. Our food was so bad, the chicken was burnt, the waitstaff didn't even both to ask why our plates weren't touched when we left. Horrible rude staff, burnt food presented badly.

Cuba is different from a lot of places one might visit, so one might accept service that wouldn't be ok elsewhere. Even so, this place disappointed us. When we first sat down, noone came around to take orders. We therefore assumed we had to go inside and buy at the bar, however as it turns out someone was supposed to... More

We stopped for a drink and sat outside. We had a 10% discount card from our hotel. The drinks cost 7CUC but the bill came to 8CUC. We asked about the 10% discount and the waiter confiscated the card. We demanded it back and asked where the discount was - he just walk off and ignored us.

1. After being seated it took half an hour for anyone to come and take our order. The restaurant was not busy 2. Once our order had finally been taken it took an hour and a half for our food to come out (were they waiting for the chicken to grow big enough before killing it?) 3. A few hours... More

This was my worst food experience during my two week trip around Cuba this year. When we walked in, we were ignored by the (large number!) of staff for 10 minutes. Another 25 minutes after we sat down and only thanks to the help of a Gaviota Tour guide sitting on the table next to us, did anyone bother to... More
