There are few restaurants in Centro Habana near the Malecon, and this was bright and welcoming. The food was good; we had lovely shrimps and lobster, and warm salad. The service was friendly. we ate there for three nights we were in Havana, tired after a day's walking, but revived at this cheerful relaxing restaurant,

Before coming to Cuba, most food reviews I've read online tell travelers to bring their own spices to compensate for the overall bland food in the country - think they're wrong and clearly have not been to Castas y Tal! The food was perfection: super tasty, generous servings and well-presented, at affordable prices for the average traveler. Even my companions... More

Great restaurant in old Havana, tucked away on a street corner. The food was excellent, the service was very friendly and warm, clearly everyone cared about the customers and was going out of their way to provide the best experience (for Cuba absolutely not common). We had the starters (the fried rolls with chicken, shrimp and beef), an absolute recommendation... More

We had two visits just to buy cocktails. The pina colada was really good, better than any where else we found. We had dinner one night. It was very nice. However they lost our order so we waited about 90 mins for our food!!! We didn't mind for the first 60 or so because every table was full and we... More

We found this cozy place by accident and first only went in for a few drinks, the good Mojitos and excellent service got us to order some food, and we are really glad we did. The food was really tasty and nicely portioned. We came back and tried a few dishes later - my favorites were the "Malanga" starter (ca... More

First meal in Havana, and it was off to a good start. The service was great, faster than imagined and friendly. Food had good presentation and we believed was cheap. Would recommend. House red wine was actually really nice if you like the softer styles.

We stumbled upon this restaurant early one evening whilst we were exploring Centro Habana, and my word was is a good find. The service was wonderful, the beer was ice cold and the food was delightful. The stand out dish was the ropja vieja. Such flavour and the perfect amount. We loved it ever so that we returned twice. I... More

We ate here three times during our stay in Havana. It is a small restaurant with few tables and is constantly busy. On each visit we had different staff serve us but they were always helpful and friendly. Once we found the service slow. The food was well presented and tasty (however, I do not recommend the pasta and veggie... More

Havana goes modern in this friendly and nicely decorated cozy restaurant! The food is tasty, the courses innovatively presented and the ratio price to quality is excellent! Totally worth a visit :)

The restaurant was nice, and the food very tasty! However, the staff wasn't very welcoming and warm. Morever, the staff worked intentionally slow to make the customers feel uncomfortable. Finally, they were using their mobile phone near us and there were also eating during the service.
