This restaurant was recommended by our guide when going to see the show at the National (a few block away). Nice atmosphere, and very accommodating to a larger group. Overall more pricey than some of the places we dined in Cuba, and seemed to serve more of a tourist niche. Appetizers were probably the weakest of the choices, and the plantain stuffed with cheese and ham was completely overcooked to the point of being inedible. Similarly the bruschetta was not standout. We enjoyed the mains -- I had the swordfish with a green sauce. While it could have used more spice, it tasted good. The grilled veggies (a separate cost) were bland. My husband had the pork, and enjoyed it. Desserts were nothing special. Atmosphere was probably the strongest point, lovely dining room and views.

We came here on our first night in Havana, around 9pm on a Saturday night. Our group of four sat outside. Almost all the other tables were filled with what appeared to be tour groups.
Our server was friendly and attentive. We started with mojitos (THE BEST), the octopus appetizer is delicious. The shrimp in the grilled mixed seafood entree had an off texture.
We all agreed that we would return for mojitos and the octopus.

This restaurant was recommended to us so we booked for dinner on New Years Eve and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was excellent and the food and service were fantastic. There is an outside dining area but we dined inside and I could not fault anything but just be aware it is quite expensive as Cuban prices go.

Food and service was OK at this small independent restaurant but not as good as others we visited at the same price point. The lamb stew was quite chewy and the two salad dishes we also had not quite as described in the menu. There are plenty of options to choose from in Vedado and this was not a stand out place for us, although it was recommended by our guide.

It was not easy to find great food in Havana, but this restaurant did not disappoint. We ate there twice! We had grilled octopus, plantain and the mixed grilled seafood. The coffee and drinks were also quite good! The service was excellent as was the view. This is certainly our number one dining experience in Cuba.

Yes, we’ve only been here 3 days but this Paladar has served us the best meal we have eaten in Cuba so far. Service was excellent and our waitress had English skills that far surpassed our Spanish! The food was tasty and well prepared. The restaurant was spotless and attractive. We turned up without a reservation but were welcomed with a smile. I would definitely recommend this place..

Good recommendation from our taxi driver. Beautiful roof top that overlooks the outskirts of the city. Mango margaritas were tasty and refreshing. Ropa Vieja is excellent and fresh. Plantain with pineapple appetizer was tasty. Plantains were softer and tasty. A must stop. Waitress that first helped us was marginal at best. The waitress that assisted her was excellent. I would go back again.

This used to be one of my favorite places back in the day. However, I was shocked to see how expensive it has become. The menu has not changed but the prices have doubled. Main dishes cost between $20-30 USD which is crazy given the current USD-CUP exchange rate. They need to revamp the prices and menu to reflect the changing times. There are better and more affordable options now in Havana.

Great rooftop restaurant. Friendly service and good food. So nice to be on the rooftop enjoying a leisurely meal. Ceviche was fantastic, as were the croquettes and other appetizers. The fish of the day is fresh and the portions very big - can be shared. Good mojitos and wine. Special place.

We were a table of 9, we arrived @ 7pm. The restaurant was 1/4 full. We ordered. The waiter returned 4 more times to have us repick food because there was not enough. The meal was 3 hours long, or 2 hours longer than it should been. They did not ever bring me my food so I ate beans and rice that were extras from other others.
My dad ordered the lobster tail special, and it was hard like a rock. The owner did nothing but stand around and not help. Everyone was very unhappy with the meal.
What really hurt me was that some of the plates we ordered which they were out of, they served others later.

Dear customer, we are very sorry to read your review, and we remember your visit perfectly. We were very kind to his family and explained the difficulty we had that night with the raw material for the dishes. There was a large reservation already paid for that came after you and that's why you saw dishes pass by that we could no longer offer. We removed the lobster from the order, even though we considered it fit for service. We were patient when after bringing in the bill, they changed They decided to pay in separate bills, which caused an extra delay, which they could not tolerate by standing in the middle of the room to wait, even though we asked them to please step aside so as not to interrupt the service.. All very unfortunate. Still, we offer apologies

The place is the best in Havana if you want to spend an unforgettable evening in a great atmosphere with excelente food.
They have a fantastic view over the districkt Vedado. After the dinner you can relax on the rooftop enjoying some delicious coctails and cuban live music.
I recommend this place with all my heart😍

Our tour group of 10 had a great lunch here. The restaurant is on the top floor of the building with great views of the city and the water. Lunch began with drinks and appetizers, then soup. My husband and I had the sword fish and it was well prepared and delicious. Dessert was a rich dollop of ice cream and coffee. Well worth a visit!

Both our Lonely Planet book and our hotel highly recommended this restaurant, but we found it average. The service was good, and the decor was interesting (it's on the pent floor of an apartment building), but the food was average. Not bad, just doesn't match the reputation we were led to believe, nor does it justify the price they charge (high by Cuban standard).
I'm not saying it's bad, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

We sat on the patio of this quaint restaurant with a small tour group. The service was great and the food was nicely prepared and delicious. The staff even gave us an evaluation to fill out. The views were incredible. I hope I can post some pictures.

My husband and I enjoyed a nice dinner here, and the view was great! There is a small elevator that takes you to the 5th floor. We ordered 2 different fish dishes, and both were very good. It is clean and quiet, and the service is good. We recommend it!
