The coffee and pastries are great, however-we arrived a few minutes after they were scheduled to be open and there were several people waiting outside the doors as the cafe was still closed. My family and I picked a spot at the tables on the...More

Stopped for a coffee whilst exploring Habana Vieja. Coffee with Ice cream was very tasty but overpriced. Waitress was friendly enough.

Visited Cafe El Escorial with my girlfriend late in the morning after exploring Havana. The coffee was excellent, and in a lovely setting on the Plaza Vieja, however the service was a little slow hence the 4 stars.

I wish I would've brought back 10 times as much as I did. This coffee is unbelievably good. The cafe and square where it's located is also fantastic. Worth your time.

The waiters look you in the eye and just continue loitering against the wall or walk past you. Unless you walk inside and ask to be served your children could grow up while you wait at this place. Interesting coffees and cakes, but very expensive.
