While Flor de Loto is nearly always busy and crowded, we found it to be worth the wait and minor inconvenience. The food and the service is top notch and highly recommend a dinner at this restaurant if you are in Havana. I believe our...server's name was Pablo and he was excellent. The Uruguayan Pork was outstanding, as was the Pork Chunks and other dishes. Great prices, too. If we return to Havana we will definitely dine again at the Flor de Loto.More

This place is always overcrowded, and for sure you have to take a line, but it worth it. Good service and quality, rations are huge. They serve cuban food and chineese food, but the best is the Cuban one. Try "ropa vieja" or "aporreado de...ternera". When I go to Cuba to visit my family I always stop by there to enjoy a meal.More

First off - everyone please note: Near the end of our trip we discovered that the service charge on the restaurant bills in Havana etc. is actually a tax to the government, NOT a gratuity for the staff! So keep that in mind when you...pay your bill. Ok, a fun Coco taxi ride brought us to Flor de Loto, where 9 of us (women) enjoyed a fun last supper in Havana! The ambience is fun, the decor is vivid, the service is exceptional and the food was a nice change of pace - excellent presentation and flavour......Chinese dishes with a definite Cuban twist. And the fresh pina colada is a must - YUM. I highly recommend putting this on your list for one night. When we told the server that we had tickets to the ballet, he made sure the order was prompt and the food arrived in plenty of time. They bent over backwards for us.More

Unlike any Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. Firstly, there was no Chinese music. A first for me in a Chinese restaurant. My visit here was the only time I ate with Cubans during the whole stay. The waiters were friendly compared with other restaurants...here; the food was edible. No hidden charges on the menu at the end. Lunch for two (2 juices, shared starter, 2 mains) for 20 CUC. Solid option overall.More

First of i had to wait in the lobby before i got a table, but no more than 5minutes so it was totally understandable. I had the soup of the style of apuela, which was good, but then i couldnt get the three first things...i ordered, which to be honest was a little strange/annoying - but then again - western embargo... so the waiter recommended me some shredded beef in some salsa with rice and beans on the side - it was okay/good but not great, but wow there was a lot of it.. had them put some of it in a box to go home. then i had some chocolate ice cream - nothing special, but it hit the spot :) i had a san pellegrino and a cocktail, all for 19.90 CUCMore

This place is a favorite for locals, the prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge. The Don Pedro is recommended, a fish fillet breaded and stuffed with shrimp and cheese. We ate off of that for 3 days. The 3 leches cake is...very good too!More

La Flor de Loto is a fairly renowned restaurant in Centro Habana. My wife and I visited him for our anniversary. We waited sitting in the living room for about 45 minutes until a table was vacated. When we finally entered we were located in...a room to the right of the main room. We ordered lamb fricasé and breaded shrimp. The food arrived almost half an hour later. It was good in flavor and the presentation was also acceptable. The evening in general was fine, although it did not fully satisfy our expectations, perhaps it also influenced that at the table next to ours with capacity for about 8 people, there were 10 seated, strangers shouting and laughing ceaselessly celebrating apparently an event of the groupMore

Flor de Loto is a popular restaurant, especially with Cubans. There is always a line of people waiting in front of the door. The food is Cuban (cosina criolla) and of good quality. The menu is no different than that of other paladares. It is...more of a food shed than a stylish restaurant. The quantities you get are huge. So much that practically nobody finishes his plate. Almost all visitors leave with a doggy-bag. Definitely a restaurant you should try.More

Flor de Loto was suggested by the owner of our Airbnb and we came here the first day we arrived in havana without high expectations. We had rabbit and lamb stew, they were both perfectly cooked, very flavorful and the portions so large that we...didn't manage to finish it. After trying several other restaurants in our 5 days visit we decided to come back for our last dinner. We had fried chicken in creole sauce and again, fantastic! The place is not fancy at all, we mostly Cubans celebrating birthdays, highly recommended!More

This is not the most beautiful restaurant, is just nice. The really good thing is the amount of the delicious food they serve, and this is a historical thing of the place, they've been doing it for many years and they are known for it....Basically, you won't be able to eat all they serve you, whatever your order was. Ambiance works for couples, families and maybe friends. Also the food is great and the prices are not exorbitant... what else could you ask for? :)More
