This place is terrible even in comparison to Cuba's already low standards. The service we received was rude and non-existent. The food was bland and in tiny portions. The old building is lovely but deserves a better vendor to bring out any potential.

Yes, Europa is a little frayed around the edges but that is part of the charm. We had a late lunch and each ordered the lobster. It was great. The mojitos were good and I had a cafecito with rum that came with a little chocolate on the saucer. Wow, that has converted me to Cuban style coffee. We also... More

The location of the restaurant is exellent, right in the middle of Obispo street. Another good thing about it it's not expensive. The food is edible but nothing really special, portions are quite small. Coctails are a disaster. The service is a disaster as well. Still for Havana it's a nice place.

Yes, it is a cool space for a cafe, but look closely. It's shabby. The menus are worn and dirty, like the tablecloths. It's a state run restaurant. Our food was not great and the service was also not great. And what is it about the bathrooms at state run restaurants? They are always disgusting even if they have an... More

We were hungry so we stopped in for dinner. Poor choice. The cheap menu prices lure you inside, but you get what you pay for. The ropa vieja was as tough as a shoe. The moros was as dry as a bone. Other dishes were also tasteless and bland. The service was abysmal: once dinner was served, server was no... More

Drinks like pinacolada and daiquiri were really well done. Food, one of the worst experience during whole Cuba trip. Service -nothing to mention. We were tempted to enter because we saw lots of people inside, having lunch, so we tought it would be a good choice for eat... but it was not.

The mojitos are GREAT. We had shrimp and rice & beans. The portions were just right and service was good. There was a band playing and it added to the great experience.

Hello, My girlfriend and I along with her father and his girlfriend attended here on Valentines Day for dinner. It is located in the downtown core of Havana, Cuba along cobble roads, with many locals and tourists mixing creating a truly unique tourist experience. It is a beautiful location and a must visit if you are going to visit Cuba.... More

We liked the diner there for the good mix, well located, fair prices, live music and food (3 times). But, we had 3 different times the lobster and once, they were so tiny they could have been camarons (shrimps) ! Probably the principal cook was off that night as the rice also wasn't cooked... but we went back and can... More

Europa was probably one the few restaurants in Old Havana where you got the most bang for your buck and where the food is actually pretty good. Alcoholic beverages cost us about $2 CUC per drink...which includes blended drinks like Pina coladas and daiquiris. The lobster dinner was only $10 CUC. We spent less than $30 CUC for two meals...
