We arrived because of the Trip Advisor comments. In my opinion I rate it with 4 stars because when we arrived at the restaurant there were no tables available, this was not the problem, but the way the first waiter who received us made the comment to us, it was like I don't have a place, I have Several tables were reserved and at no time did they give us any option to wait. Later another waiter came out and he told us that they had already asked him for the bill for a table, that we could wait outside, and then come through. After 30 minutes we entered the restaurant, however, because a reservation arrived with 24 people, they gave priority to serving them, leaving our dishes for later, which is why we waited 1 hour for the food and drinks to be served. We ordered a salad and the dish was not what we expected. The food was good, but they lack more empathy and friendliness with tourism, I consider that they have a lot of room for improvement to have the Trip Advisor distinction as one of the best.

Ante todo Gracias por su visita y lamentamos que no haya tenido una experiencia placentera. Vendemos a grupos con mucha anterioridad ya que tienen las visitas con un tiempo determinado. Teniamos ese dia una visita de 40 personas y otra de 24, concertadas con mucho tiemo de anterioridad y son Menus preconcetrados . eL dependiente mesero ese dia estaban bastante apurados por la demanda de esos grupos que tenian mas de un mes con la reserva y era un Menu preconcertado y debia estar listo enseguida ellos llegaran . El mesero a cargo en ese momento le dijo que esabamos a full capacidad y ud. ( y le damos las gracias) decidio esperar. El proximo mesero que los atendio, lo hizo para atenderlos y realmente lamentamos la espera. Nos diculpamos enormemente y Gracias por su visita y por su comentario llamado a mejorar y lo tomaremos en cuenta en nuestra planificacion cuando estemos a full capacidad. . Havana surprised us not only with its architecture and bright colors, but also with friendly people, cheerful musicians and delicious cuisine.
Literally a stone's throw from the Old Square (Plaza Vieja) is the restaurant Mojito, Mojito.
Of course, the signature drink is the Mojito cocktail. According to the manager, this drink was invented in Cuba. We don't know the exact history, but we think that in general many cocktails were invented here when Cuba was a popular resort among neighboring countries. Here you can try the mojito cocktail in numerous variations. I decided to order a signature drink (a very high quality drink) and Kirill took a mojito with a huge beer. Look at the photo, I think you will be surprised.
From the hot dishes, we also decided to take the signature dish - the meat set. It is served in a special clay pig, in which, thanks to burning coals, the meat remains at a comfortable temperature.
While we were waiting for our dish, we decided to try an appetizer of jamon and cheese, served on a platter shaped like a rudder.
For dessert we tried lemon sorbet and enjoyed a cappuccino.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is perfect. Music played and Christmas decorations reminded everyone that the holidays were approaching.
We highly recommend visiting this restaurant and enjoying yourself.

The restaurant impresses with its beautiful and stylish decor, which immediately creates a welcoming atmosphere. The cuisine is of the highest quality, with each dish excellently prepared and a real highlight in terms of taste. The drinks, of refreshing mojitos are served with great attention to detail.
Particularly noteworthy is the flexibility of the restaurant in dealing with children. Children's menu was very good.
The combination of excellent food, warm service and personal attention made the evening special. Even though the restaurant was not fully staffed in the off-season, the staff were always friendly and dedicated. A special highlight was that the musicians played especially for us, which gave the evening an unforgettable atmosphere. We had a fish plate and mojito mojito plate.

We found this restaurant through Trip advisor and booked a table before we left England via Whatsapp. We received a very fast response confirming our table and couldn't wait to visit on our first trip to Havana.
This place felt very authentic and the staff made us feel very welcome, there were minimal language barrier issues, as we didn't speak Spanish, and the place was really clean and bright.
We ordered a mixed meat and seafood platter on the mini BBQ grill, which came with Black bean rice, and my son had the Cuban Vieja, which was a spicy pulled beef. Both dishes were excellent and gave us a great first nights meal in Havana.
We had a couple of Mojitos, including a Mega Mojito (which was very refreshing, although I did struggle to use the straw as the mint kept getting stuck).
We like this place so much that during our 3 nights in Havana, we came back again on our last evening. This time ordering the BBQ meat platter and the BBQ ribs, again both were excellent.
We would defiantly recommend going back and the price was very reasonable for the food and portion size you are getting.
There was also a band both nights, we found them very loud, but after being in Cuba for a few days, you realise that the Cubans love their loud live traditional music and you soon realise it is all part of the experience.

They are on the right path. Every time I've gone they are better. We care about them as customers because you can see the effort they make every day to be better, it shows in their delicious dishes and drinks, they also have music on site that gives the opportunity to local artists. Great for tourists. Fun place street level with live music. However, Cerviche was terrible , service was slow and they rip you off if you use American $$$. Don't understand all the hype and good reviews.

Great Food, Lovely band and great service. We had some delicious Mojito’s (ofcourse;) and the dinner was served very perfectionous. The waiter Marlon was very friendly & spoke English perfectly! Very Nice of you Dont speak a word spanish. Great service!

Visited following a great walking tour with intrepid travel.
Met by lovely staff, the meal was a set 4 course meal- cream of pumpkin soup served with bread, delicious; a choice of 3 main course pork, shredded beef or chicken- we both opted for the beef, this was plentiful and delicious, served with a side of rice and beans, mashed potato and shredded cabbage all cooked to perfection and served with a smile- very attentive staff who made sure we were happy with our food and drinks ( the home made lemonade is delicious), the final course was a simple ice cream which was refreshing and followed by coffee.
The staff are a true credit to the hospitality industry and could teach some of our establishments in the Uk some of the finer arts of waiting on.
Live music to boot, fabulous
Would highly recommend

Today, 2/17, I was with my husband and my mother at the restaurant and we really liked the atmosphere with the live music and the service was wonderful. Maykel attended to us and we felt very pleased. I recommend the mojito frappe and the seafood zarzuela although my husband tried the seafood paella and it was wow spectacular as was the salmon fillet. It is a place to repeat

We went to Mojito Mojito on our first night in Cuba! We were jet lagged, hungry, and overwhelmed from a long night and day of traveling, and this was the perfect spot to relax and get a feel for Havana! The mojitos, as you can imagine, were very delicious, but our favorite part of this meal was the band! There was live music and the band was really talented and very fun, we even bought one of their CDs! The food was delicious as well, I am not a big meat eater so I ended up ordering a side of the "grilled vegetables," and was surprised when a HUGE platter of delicious looking vegetables was brought out to me, on a sort of portable grill that kept them hot throughout my meal. They were honestly delicious, as was everyone else's meal.

I can say that it is one of the richest places I have found during my entire trip to Cuba. At first we only wanted a mojito, the menu has many varieties and I have to say that they are very rich and sweet (although, they are not similar to the classic mojito). Since it was time to eat, we decided to order here too and the result was delicious.
The problem is the price. In general, eating in Old Havana is a little more expensive. We have managed to eat for 15-17 euros for two people throughout our trip. At Mojito Mojito cost us 37 euros, also influenced by the fact that they offer a lower currency exchange rate.
It is about evaluating each person's case; The mojitos and the food are worth it, but knowing that the price is higher.

Fantastic eating joint in old Havana very close to Plaza Vieja. Ate 3 times primarily lunch because of variety and quality of food offered along with great service by Daniella and Marlon who speak very good English (Daniella was our favorite). Pollo con arroz, chicken curry with rice, grilled fish with vegetables, pasta were some of dishes we ordered. Portions large. Seafood bisque was excellent. Deserts good too. There were folks playing music intermittently that added nice vibes. Owner/ manager always around.

We were in Havana to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. After a lot of research into great dining locations we settled on Mojito Mojito and it couldn't have worked out better. The location was close to our hotel near Parque Central and there was live music even though we were there at noon. It really helped to create an atmosphere that would be hard to duplicate elsewhere. As it was only lunch, we kept if fairly simple, ordering some bread, 1.5L of water, rose wine and beers as well as an order of Ropa Vieja each. The meat was bursting with flavour yet, it wasn't overwhelming. All the different flavours complimented one another (tomato, onion, peppers, etc) and the beef (it is going to sound cliche) literally melted in the mouth. The service was attentive without feeling like hovering. I wish Havana was closer or we had the recipe to make this at home but it created a lasting memory all around and for that, thank you Mojito Mojito!! Fully and unreservedly recommend this restaurant to anyone who will be in Habana Vieja.

Restaurant with very good music, very friendly and lively musicians, pleasant and fun atmosphere. The food was delicious, the piña colada was spectacular, the lemon dessert was delicious...we were served by a very professional and friendly waiter named Brando. We liked it so much that we repeated and it was just as good with Brando as a waiter. I give this guy a 10 for his kindness and humility. Super recommended.

We really like this restaurant and recommend it.
Good food and plenty of it, great mojitos, as well as musical entertainment.
We ate the grilled meat for 2 people, which was very well served. We couldn't even get to the desserts!
