Enjoyed our visit here. Between two of us we had falafel and tabbouleh, a falafel wrap and babaganoush with bread. Plenty of food. Great for vegetarians. Mostly very tasty but perhaps a bit heavy on the lime. Good service too. Might need to ask for all food to come together as the falafel came before everything else.

This place was the only one we could find in the area that had offered sit-down American style breakfast with eggs and sides that opened at 8am. Everything else in the area consisted of coffee shops that only offered baked good and coffee all morning. We usually ordered a combo meal with eggs, fruit, bacon, toast. For the fruit cup, we did end up asking for only mango as we found it delicious and they were accommodating. We would also have fresh fruit juice and found it amazingly tasty. We stayed in Havana for 4 days/3 nights and had 3 breakfast here as well a 1 lunch. It’s all tasty, but definitely more Americanized than a normal Cuban restaurant.

Being an experienced shisha smoker, I Was soooo looking forward to get a shisha in Havana after being here for a month but the experience wasn’t great. Was offered double apple flavour which turned into mint flavour ( which i dont like) but hey… beggers cant be choosers… Anyway, moving on to the drinks, daiquiri was more water than alcohol based…. Also service was not great. Getting waiter’s attention was difficult . Reminded waiter 3 times for a bottle of water that never appeared…. And the place wasn’t busy…… As much as i need a shisha from time to time, unfortunately, will think twice before coming back….

Do not be deceived by the trattoria across the road. If you want a great food experience ignore their many guests there, and go here! Eat the meat dishes, or any dishes, they are refined and will charm you, and the service is great. Enjoy eating your delicious meal while the others across the lane, eat their (Cuban Pizzas!!!!). If you want good food in Cuba this is one of the places to go!

We ended up here when our designated place was closed. We sat in the open window and had a massive breakfast for $5. Super friendly staff and fast service. Food was great with coffee, eggs, fruit, toast...Lots of couples, families!

This simple place with tables in the middle of the street serves a complete breakfast including juice, coffee, fruit, eggs and toast for only 5 CUC. Really good.

We were recommended this cafe by a friend who recently discovered it while getting lost in Havana. It is a bit off the tourist paths though but definitely worth a visit. You will sit in a quiet little alley and enjoy great food. They offer coffe+cake and have a great lunch menu (the Risotti looked amazing, nevertheless we didn't try them as we were only there for coffe). Great atmosphere and a clean bathroom incl. toilet paper. :)

We were looking for lunch but everywhere was busy. This gave us a table at a moderately busy corner next to a very busy pizza restaurant. However we definitely got the better deal. We shared a seafood risotto and some beef tacos with a couple of beers and it was excellent and great value for money too. A lovely find.

We ate here on our first night in Havana as it was near our accomodation. The shrimp and chicken dishes we had were delicious.

We had lunch here on our second day in Havana. Sat at an outside table on the street with a great view of local passing life and a great value 'menus of the day' which included a mojito, soup, main course and desert for 10CUC each (about £7.40). All were good quality. It is accross a narrow street from the 5 Esquinas pizzeria, so you have a choice of good restaurants if you are in this area of old Havana. Would definitely recommend and would return.

Walking the streets of Old Havana not far from our apt we stumbled on this place. The sandwich board special said "Starter, salad, main and a Mojito for CUC10", so we gave it a go. Very nice bread w/ajillo dip to share, large green salad each, grilled shrimps w/rice, grilled chicken with grilled veg were all very tasty. Plus a Mojito! Too bad it was our last night....
