Haven eaten at Mi Banana a few times. Food is always local and fresh. The owner is always on hand, and even thought language was a little bit of a problem we all had a delioucis Sea Bass, and great Coconut cake!!

We went to Mi Banana on the recommendation of some divers we met on a dive who have been going to Bonaire for 20 years. I would highly recommend this restaurant (which is not in the downtown area, but worth the short drive), to anyone who likes good local food, without a lot of fuss, Yes, it's not super fancy... Certainly nothing to rave about. Excellent fish gumbo, but the main meal was uninspired. Portions were good. Local ambience.

We had a very filling lunch. The waitress was good to ask a customer to assist when we ordered. It was not printed on the menu that 2 sides came with the meal and the menu had prices for sides, so we were confused. We thought the sides were an additional charge. The customer cleared things up for us. Very... More

We enjoyed plantains, taro, mahi, wahoo, all at a reasonable price for lunch. Service is great and you dine with the locals.

Nice place to visit and have something off the beaten track. Not extraordinary or special, a place where you can have a nice dinner. The place is fairly cheap compared to other restaurants

This restaurant was recommended to us by one of our dive guides and so glad we listened. Food is outstanding and reasonably priced. It's a little over a mile away from downtown so you can drive or walk there. Highly recommended for the wonderful service and flavorful food. I wish we had more time to go again.

My husband wasn't overly enamored, he had the fish in creole sauce which I thought was nice but he wasn't sure. I had the stuffed chicken with spinach and cheese which was fine a little over cooked but good and tasty. We both had ceaser salads and 1 drink each with desert. The cheese cake was good I had the... Very friendly staff with outstanding food. Variety of beef, chicken, and seafood dishes. Sea food stew had thick hearty broth with abundant chunks of shrimp, calamari, and fish. Arroz con pollo was daily special and was fantastic. Fried plantains and yuca very good and not at all greasy. Food portions are large, so consider sharing one dish.

We had a pleasant evening with good food and enjoyed the authenticity of the place! Owners don't speak Dutch and that's very seldom on the island. Creole food from Columbian couple, top!
