After diving in Washington Slaggbai Park, my two dive buddies and I stopped here for a milkshake. Norman insisted that we try his pumpkin soup. Since I don't eat dairy products and was going to get something to eat anyway, I said "Yes." The pumpkin soup was awesome. It's made of a think chicken broth with noodles, chunks of pumpkin... More

This is a little one man food stand in Rincon He serves a very interesting homemade pumpkin soup for $7 with chicken broth, fine noodles, cabbage, pumpkin squares, and, of all things, banana chips! It was tasty. And he will re-fill your bowl. The owner is nice fellow who is quite a talker and salesman so expect to spend some... More

A tiny place in the town of Rincon on the way to the park. Known for great milk shakes, pumpkin soup and a warm outgoing owner. When Charlotte and I arrived we had just eaten the fantastic breakfast buffet at the Flamingo beach resort, but we had to try the soup. We were served two steaming 12 ounce paper cups... More

We stopped here on the way back from the park after having read some great reviews about his famous pumpkin soup. There are no prices listed on his menu which should have been a clue, however we were distracted, hungry and taken by Norman's hospitality so we failed to ask, thinking well how expensive could it be? We ordered 2... More

Stop by, have a fantastic milkshake and talk with Norman, the proprietor. Very nice man and relaxed atmosphere. It doesn't get any more island original than here...poco poco!

We stopped by Le-Ma-Se for a famous milk shake (cherry bourbon), then splurged on cheese and meat pastechis (savory hand pies) and krokets. Norman was kind enough to share some delicious pumpkin soup with peppers, as well as spiced cake with us while we sat and talked. A short stop ended up turning into a wonderful hour relaxing, eating wonderful... More

I had heard of Le-Ma-Se but had not been. What a wonderful surprise to finally eat at this little local soup/sandwich & shake place in the quaint village of Rincon, Bonaire! We had the pumpkin/squash soup & as we would say back in New Orleans - Normen put his foot in it - delicious. This great soup filled me up so... More

Get out of Kralendjik and visit Rincon. The owner at Le-Ma-Se is very nice and serves excellent ice cream and shares. The place is relaxing and a great stop while visiting the island.
