My wife and I ate here on our anniversary. It's easily the most expensive place we've found (including the The Cliff) in Barbados....but it was worth it. Great food, fine dining at its best, lovely service from start to end, thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal. Great people too.

The food and service are quiet exceptional. It would stand its own against any 3 star Michelin restaurant. The setting is charming. over the years the standard has been consistently good. The soufle is certainly worth a try. Wine list is great. It is however very expensive compared to the best in Barbados and even the Ritz in London so... More

This restaurant is truly exceptional. The staff the setting the wine but of course the food which is some of the best you will find on the planet. The Spanish chef, Patricio, will be World renowned very soon and already is exceptional. Combine this with one of the best hotels and some of the friendliest and well trained staff you're... More

Beautiful setting matched with excellent food. The waiting staff were very attentive without being too obtrusive. An expensive evening but worth every penny

Having been fortunate enough to have dined at L'Acajou since 2003, I'm amazed at how they manage to remain so consistent. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the food is always spot on, the dishes are impressively presented and prepared. The wine list is impressive as is the knowledge of the sommelier This was the first time we've... More

The standards of this restaurant have nothing to envy to a 3 stars Michelin restaurant. Service was perfect, atmosphere magic, food amazing. Everything I ate was just perfect. I also wanted to compliment the Chef (Patricio) for the food as I loved absolute everything. I had risotto zafferano with scallops (risotto is the sign dish of the chef) as starter.... More

Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and welcoming - what more could you ask of a restaurant manager? Kevin settled us in and, rather than just pass us off to other staff (all superb, by the way as well) he explained aspects of the menu, the daily specials - all with charm and a refreshing honesty ("I'm not too keen on the Grouper... We were celebrating my husband big birthday (60) and chose this restaurant as my special birthday surprise to him. From the moment we arrived we received a fantastic welcome with the statement that they wished to make my husband birthday the most enjoyable he has ever had. The restaurant is stunning overlooking the sea and with a pianist providing entertainment.... More

Before booking we new this was an exclusive hotel and expensive so I was expecting something really special. What we got was a perfectly acceptable meal in very pleasant surroundings but we have had better food in any number of restaurant in London for half the price. If you are not familiar with the costs starters are £30 to £50... More

Beautiful attentive service and lovely food, particularly the seafood (crab starter and lobster salad were great)! Cocktails were gorgeous but it is expensive. Worth it for a treat or special occasion!
