We visited The Grand fish last night and it was fantastic! The outside is deceiving, however, inside is welcoming, cute and very nice. Kenya and Joshua were very friendly and helpful throughout our dinner. My husband had the tenderloin that was cooked perfectly to his...liking and I had the tuna steak that was fantastic. If you want to eat like a local and not a tourist I highly recommend this hidden gem.More

We were recommended to The Grand Fish by our fishing tour guide Chito! We caught 7 fish and he told us to go to Grand Fish so they can cook it! We went 2 days in a row! And we had the fish cooked different...ways! The chef went out of his way to make sure we had a variety of different cooking styles. Then the Pan Bati with cheese best thing every!!! Lastly our waiter 2 days in a row Kenya, was so kind, funny, and accommodating. Coming back next time I’m in Aruba! Thank you Kenya & the chef!More

We found this place by accident, the fresh fish was delicious! They gave these pancake things as an appetizer, and they were very addictive. Our server, Kennia was super friendly, one of the best we met on the island. Drinks were great, convenient, location, And...the fresh fish was delicious.More

Service was friendly and the place was clean. Food was reasonably priced, but aside from the tasty appetizers, the rest was unfortunately just mediocre. I had the daily special, mahi mahi, very dry, and so was the plantain. Broccholi was overcooked, soggy, falling apart. We...had eaten here before and enjoyed it then. Maybe the cook changed....More

This place is an absolute gem!! They had quite the selection for the fish of the day (mahi mahi, grouper, tuna, red snapper and wahoo). We tried the fish soup, funchi, Caesar salad, paella, grouper, mahi and wahoo. All the dishes were fantastic! Our waitress...Kenia was fabulous! She was so sweet and attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant to get a taste of the local fish/dishes!More

The Grand Fish is more like The Grand Wait…….. The walk to and from the restaurant and the anticipation of a good meal was the best part of the experience. The service was slow from the time we sat down, to getting our order taken....I wish I had timed it but I think we waited longer to get our check than the whole meal took to order and eat. No one came back over to check on us after the food came out. We watched them take an order for one table and then spend 10 minutes taking another order WITHOUT putting in the first tables order. Clearly the staff is very poorly trained as they fail to pick up on the basics of customer service. We witnessed one couple come in after use and got up and left due to the service being so slow. They did not even order their dinner. The food was palatable but did not taste super fresh or well seasoned. Portions were suitable. When we come to Aruba we eat at a minimum of 14 restaurants for dinner and this will NOT be on the list to come back to in the future nor to recommend when people ask us. Don’t read all the great reviews look at the negative ones and see what the common complaints are…… very telling….More
