Excellent dinner, great service and convenient location in the Renaissance Mall near the port and close to two casinos for pre or post dinner/lunch fun.
I had the grilled shrimp and my husband went with chicken carbonara pasta after our coconut shrimp appetizer. The prices on the menu are in the Aruban currency, Florins, so in dollars the meal was only about 60% of the menu prices. We definitely will return.

We discovered this restaurant by chance and it was a very good surprise. They offered us a welcome appetizer and then we tasted several fish dishes, all delicious. The kindness and friendliness of the staff make the place very welcoming. Highly recommended!

We visited The Grand fish last night and it was fantastic! The outside is deceiving, however, inside is welcoming, cute and very nice. Kenya and Joshua were very friendly and helpful throughout our dinner. My husband had the tenderloin that was cooked perfectly to his liking and I had the tuna steak that was fantastic. If you want to eat like a local and not a tourist I highly recommend this hidden gem.

It was recommended to us as a nice place with good quality where locals eat.
Unfortunately we were the only ones and we were served our head and coffee within an hour.
Coconut shrimp starter was great, calamari was disappointing in terms of batter and crispy. Shrimp main course where the potato puree was delicious but the shrimp had no real taste.
For that price we expected more.
In terms of conviviality and service, little can be said other than that there was little contact and no social chat. Possibly language thing. ,

A friend told me about this place for lunch, I've been driving from work to have a quiet hour and eat. my friend asks for a soup, and I ask for the menu. I see that their prices are very high. They had told me about lunch specials. and I didn't see them on the menu. I told my friend order your soup to go I'll eat elsewhere. We informed the lady (I don't know her name) because she didn't show up, nor do they wear name tags. and she just said ok, when we are at the cashier to pay for the soup that my friend ordered we could see that if they have specials, she simply did not want to offer it or ask why she would not eat anymore, the soup was a disaster $13 and it is small, water with a couple of pieces of fish. I absolutely do not recommend anyone to come to this place! if that's how they treat their people (Local). You can not expect more for a tourist who comes and goes. the local market is always supposed to be there! and always supports the economy in aruba! My friend asked the woman why she hadn't offered us the specials, and she only knew how to say you asked for the menu. okay! a course, study and preparation is urgently needed to be a true waitres!!!

We were recommended to The Grand Fish by our fishing tour guide Chito! We caught 7 fish and he told us to go to Grand Fish so they can cook it! We went 2 days in a row! And we had the fish cooked different ways! The chef went out of his way to make sure we had a variety of different cooking styles. Then the Pan Bati with cheese best thing every!!! Lastly our waiter 2 days in a row Kenya, was so kind, funny, and accommodating. Coming back next time I’m in Aruba! Thank you Kenya & the chef!

We have been to this restaurant several Times in the past, stopped for awhile because of bad service. Decided to ho back again today, started of with the seafood soup, which wss cream y and full of mixed seafood. For My main, I ordered the Land and sea skewer which was delicious. I couldn’t finish it all, AO I asked My waiter to please “pa-hiba” or to take out. The waiter was obviously flustered because a few tables were sitted and waiting service. He was alone, and so we waited for him to bring our check, probably close to 20 mins. While he took care of the new diners. When another waited finally arrived, I asked him to please bring me the left over skewer, only to tell me that they threw it away. He said he would make me another One BUT would take time. It’s a pity, good Food bit yet again another bad Service day NOT ever coming back. Red Fish has never dissapointed like this restaurant. They did Not even have whole fish, Just fillets. Never again!

As we do for every trip to Aruba, we jumped in the cab in the Palm Beach area and asked the Taxi Drivers where there is fresh seafood, great service and moderate prices that the Locals all know about. Within 5 minutes, we were parked in a small strip shopping center on the main road to the hotels in front of Grand Fish.
While the American Foodies are now spending endless time to hike to Zeerover to get thier teeshirt as a badge of honor, we got the same quality of food with a far more diverse memu and fresh caught fish just minutes from our hotel, including the finest soups that we had ever expericenced on the Island in "Fish Soup" and "Seafood Stew". In the case that fabulas, fresh and moderately priced seafood is just not your thing, they also serve USDA Steak with the T-Bone seared in a cast iron pan that melts in your month. There was something great for everyone in our group!
If you are like us and unwilling to stand in line for hours at the No Reservation taken any more "Wacky Wahoo", the Grand Fish is your replacement and bring your appetite and no need for a second mortgage on the house for an unforgettable meal and service. Because they service the Locals, they also do "Take Out".

We have been coming to Aruba for many years and tried lots of restaurants. Grand Fish is one of our favorite places and we typically visit several times each trip. The food is always delicious, the staff is very friendly, prices are reasonable, and the quaint atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We would highly recommend you make a point to visit Grand Fish when in Aruba!!

We happened upon the Grand Fish on our last evening in Aruba. We’re so happy we did, but wish we’d have found it sooner! The food was so fresh and it was the best meal our family of 6 had all week. Hanny was a very attentive waitress, and offered great recommendations while also answering any questions we had about the menu (which was quite a large menu). Excellent local and fresh food and we will definitely be back on a return trip!👍

Hanny, our tour guide at the restaurant, gave gave us so much information about the food they offer. We enjoyed her friendly helpfulness so much we felt she is a tour guide for her restaurant more than a hostess.
We explored octopus, escargot, shrimp and calamari. All extremely fresh and delicious.
If you want a homey meal with a friend here’s the place.

We tried this small, out of the way locals spot where my mahi mahi was ok and my husband’s was terrible. His tenderloin was over cooked because the server heard “medium well” instead of “medium rare” as he ordered it. When he didn’t eat it, they didn’t take it off the check without us advocating for that.

Had a delicious dinner tonight at Grand Fish. The catches of the day were Wahoo, Barracuda, and Amber Jack. I had barracuda with mango sauce- very fresh and flavorful. Our waiter Gabriel went out of his way giving us suggestions on which sauces paired well with each fish. If you have a rental car, it can be a little tricky to find, even though it is approx. 5 minutes from Palm Beach. It is owned by the prior owner of The Old Fisherman. Highly recommend dining here, it is a “locals” restaurant with likewise pricing. Appetizer, 2 entrees, and a Balashi was less than $60

This is off the beaten path. A hidden treasure. We come here every time we visit Aruba. This local restaurant has great food and service. We love the fried bread and cheese they give as a free appetizer. So good! We usually get the fried red snapper. Never disappoints!

My Family had the pleasure of eating in this restaurant last week in Aruba. The food was delicious; the fried corn bread, apps, entrees and dessert. The staff was friendly and our server Jamar (I think that was his came) went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the meal. Chris also helped and was very helpful and kind. We highly recommend this restaurant and next time we are in Aruba we will be back! I strongly recommend the The Grand Fish Restaurant & Bar.
