Very friendly staff, especially out waiter Walter Alfredo. He offered great suggestions and took care of every detail. The starters - plaintains and coconut shrimp and Papaya accompanied by a Cuba Libre and a Cuban Passion were a great start to a wonderful meal. For a main dish we had the Seafood Boat - shrimp, mussels, fish and calamari served... More

Food was terrible and took forever, about 30 minutes to bring out 2 sandwiches! I got the fish sandwich which was disgusting, a tiny sliver of very fishy tasting fish in a huge roll. Definitely a place to avoid, many better places in that area.

The menu had lots to choose from and the dishes we selected were all very tasty. The restaurant staff were very attentive and ready to ensure we had a pleasant experience. There was a very talented young lady singing the evening we were there and her repertoire was extensive. From songs in Spanish to English, she took requests and provided... More

The food was good with a good variety on the menu, there was a mix up with my order but fixed quickly. Cocktails were not that great, too much alcohol... There was a singer as entertainment in the restaurant, she was very good. Overall, I'd recommend this as a no frills meal. If you want something a bit more 'fancy'... More

Had an awesome meal, waiter and entertainment at Cuba's Cookins. Mixed grill lobster, grouper and shrimp cooked to,perfection. Attentive waiter "Alfredo". , then music and dancing with audience participation, If you're looking for a great night out in Aruba, this is a must go spot.

Food is authentic Cuban and delicious but too pricey. Be sure to ask for waiter..Alfredo V. whose service was polite and genuine. An 18 year old female vocalist was outstanding and sounded like Cher. We visited on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016 which is same day as the death of Fidel Castro. We were greeted by the Cuban owner who voluntarily... More

Delicious late lunch. We both had the grouper with rice and soup. Very filling. It was the daily special. We sat on the patio and enjoyed watching life passing by while we relaxed. I would certainly eat here again

I had a Cuban and some roast pork. The sandwich was tasty. I've had better but I can still say they did a good job with the food. Same with the roast pork. I did enjoy the mojitos. They get an A plus for those.

Two weeks ago my husband and I experience Cuba's Cooking for the third time. Since we discovered this restaurant we have made it one of our places to eat whenever we are in Aruba. During the busy season, you will experience not only the most fantastic food and amazing service (Thank You Kenny), but the talented dancers who will teach... More

When I say it's too expensive it's because I believe the the ratio price/value isn't balanced. The food is good, but nothing special and the drinks are okay too.

Description
Newly located in the Renaissance Marketplace downtown, Cuba's Cookin' has moved with the times just as when Fidel began his march on Havana in 1959. This is what Havana would have looked & felt like.... and when the live music starts up nightly....this is exactly what you would have heard & seen back then. A moment in history brought out in Cuba's food, mojitos, art, culture and dance. A real authentic dinning experience you will take home forever from your trip to Aruba.
