We have been to Roy’s many times over the years and it consistently has delicious food and friendly service. We started out with a rum punch which was very good and not too sweet. We shared the Caesar salad which had a subtle taste of...anchovies and nice dressing. We chose the grouper which was the catch of the day and enjoyed the baked potato and rice which is welcome if you don’t always want fries. We also requested a side of broccoli which was happily served to us. All in all a delicious meal sitting in the fresh ocean breeze overlooking the boats moored at Sandy ground beach. How can you go wrong! Although we were just a couple this time we recommend Roy’s for larger groups and families for lunch or supper.More

we had been here only once back in 2011, wish we came back sooner, our lunch was off the charts and we will be back for breakfast and dinner, great location and amazing food. I had the mahi salad, so fresh and amazing, hubby had...the fish sandwich, also off the charts. WOWOW cant wait to come back.More

We always grab a meal at Roy’s while in Anguilla. Our favorites are great burgers or fish and chips. We both had burgers and this meal was tasty again. The only issue was service was vary vary slow. Not sure what the issue was. They...are normally quicker. Regardless we will be back as it is one of our Anguilla spots we hit while on the island.More

I am stunned to see some very negative reviews about this place. I have not had the pleasure to meet the original owners, but the daughter and her husband are VERY friendly and helpful. She even called ahead to several other restaurants to see if...they had conch available, something that was very scarce a few weeks ago. The hamburgers were true comfort food US/European gastropub burgers and very filling. The friday burger USD 10 deal plus toppings is excellent. The serve Heineken on tap by the pint and their staff were unfailingly courteous, easygoing, laughing and we had a jol of a time each time we were there. There is absolutely nothing to complain about and there is a very Anguillian flavour to the place. Right smack in a working harbour but on the beach with a great and varied view. I cannot speak enough of both Claire and her staff. By far the best burger on the Island.More

We had a lunch and dinner at Roy's. Due to the rough seas they did not have any lobster for dinner so I had fish and chips. The portion was huge and the fish was crispy. There was a very large group at the restaurant...but Patrick took care of us. Service was good despite the large group. Lunch was a burger and a fish sandwich. The burger was okay. The server in training provided good service. The menu here has shrunk but still provided enough choices for us. Roy's is always a must do restaurant for us and we look forward to dining there again on our next visit.More

This used to be a wonderful restaurant when Roy was in charge. Sadly his daughter seems to have changed the atmosphere and quality of food, and service. It was empty when I arrived as a party of three early evening. we stood at the point...requested for seating. Three staff saw us but ignored us. eventually begrudgingly we were allowed to disturb their ennui and were asked to choose a place to sit. The chairs are made of the most uncomfortable heavy iron. Eventually we were given a menu and left to request attention after having had plenty of time to select. Roys Famous Fish and Chips is no more. The tiniest piece of battered fish arrived accompanied by a dollop of dry peas and chips. The tartar sauce was good. What there was of the fish was did not taste fresh. This was chosen by two of the party. The other member asked for a well done burger that arrive rare. At one point I decided to ask for a second beer, still the only customers I was unable to attract the attention of the staff, so wandered to the bar and stood waiting to be noticed - but no - the waitress was on her phone texting - the barman was busy looking at the till. Eventually felt I needed to draw attention to my presence. Begrudgingly this worked but with no pleasantries. When the bottles arrived we decided to leave to find a more welcoming place to drink them. Paying the bill with no conversation offered I unusually left no tip and left regretting that a venue I used to frequent regually when on the island was no longer Roys. I will not be going back.More

A meal at Roy’s is a must when on Anguilla. They have great fish and chips, burgers, steaks, and seafood. We like enjoying a meal here and being a beach location. The staff is excellent. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We stopped here for breakfast one morning during out visit to Anguilla. We ordered the lobster omelets, and they were delicious. Extremely generous portions of lobster, and the prices were incredibly reasonable. We'd definitely recommend!

I like Roy’s but they make it hard! I tried to order some fries as I saw a family ordering some. The bar staff told me the kitchen was closed. The family then ordered another basket of chips which they received. I placed a food...order for my toddler (chicken dippers) when the kitchen “opened” at 5pm. 45 minutes later I asked where the food was. The same bar person told me it’d be another 15 minutes. I cancelled as by this time my child was irritable and hunger and no longer wanting to sit at a table. No apologises from staff or kind words. Being nice means a lot and it’s free. Do not expect this to be the norm at Roy’s.More

As an expat living in Anguilla Roys delivers great food. Try their daily specials for a nice treat. I have had a lobster burger and a lamb burger that were impressive. The place is very clean.

From Zemi it’s about a 15 minute cab ride and round trip for two will likely cost about the same as renting a car for an entire day. Taxis can be expensive and Anguilla is an explorer’s island. I would recommend you rent a... More
