This is a really nice little cafe conveniently on the highway. So much nicer than all the standard highway eateries. Scones, buns, sandwiches, soups, great coffees in a nice wooden shack sort of setting. Just watch out for their closed days, currently Tuesday and Wednesday.

We have stopped at the CB many times over the years and it never disappoints. We normally always have the fresh cinnamon buns or scones but regardless of what we have tried it has always been fresh and yummy.
We travelled through to Calgary from the Kootenays and waited to have breakfast so we could visit this bakery. The baked goods were amazing. Fresh and delicious. Coffee was excellent. Service prompt and professional
