Poor service. Waited for 20 minutes after we arrived to be asked what we would like to drink. The quality of the food was average. It seemed the staff didnt care. I do not recommend this restuarant. We are an Australian family of 4 with 2...little boys.More

We had a very enjoyable meal here at a very enjoyable price, always better when you get value. Mosquitoes were a problem, but the staff did have some spray on hand, this is common of all restaurants in the area.

Expensive and staff very rude and unfriendly. Vibe looks good but won’t recommend it to anyone. Much better places in the same area.

Due to the proximity to the Conrad Bali, this venue is a no brainer (its across the road), amongst the handful of multicultural restaurants in the local area. I was just after a simple/quick late dinner fix, and while walking by undecided, I saw a...few tables of guests, so thought I'd give it a try. All the dining is alfresco, so don't expect any relief from the Bali heat. Service was quick if a somewhat in personable. I ordered a starter, a main and cool refreshment. Due to the venue only having 3 tables of guests, my dishes arrived with little delay, however, it also landed with little flavour or presentation. The Tom Yum soup for starter was nothing like I have ever tasted (in Thailand). and the (mains) curry prawns lacked, well... curry flavour. It was seriously just gravy... I understand the need for these types of 'side street' restaurants to try to appeal to every red-blooded Aussie and his dog with an extensive yet safe menu, at least to try , and stay competitive and serve something universally appealing. But seriously I have had better Thai food back home for the same priceMore

There are lots of restaurants in this area and most serve a variety of cuisines as did the Heart of Bali. Since we were newly arrived in Bali I really wanted to try the local food. I ordered steamed and grilled chicken with Balinese sauce....It was a huge mistake! It was awful. Since the chicken was seemingly cooked twice, steamed and then grilled, it was so overcooked that there was no moisture left. The meat was literally coming apart falling of the bones and tasteless. The Balinese sauce was not like a traditional sauce as you would think, sauce with a gravy like consistency it was more like really bad, runny stuffing. It was absolutely putrid. I could not eat it. The only reason I gave this restaurant 3 out of 5 was because my husband ordered a pizza and said it was delicious, go figure.More

STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT! We visited here for lunch and ordered Nasi Goreng (chicken) and Sphagetti with Tomato Sauce (Told them this is to be pure vegetarian). Got Nasi goreng without chicken, and Spaghetti with sauce which had seafood in it. We were the...only customers so was very irritating to see how they mess that simple order up. Anyways we asked why there is no chicken in the Nasi Goreng and why is the sauce having meat. Staff was super rude! took the nasi goreng back just to add some chicken on top, asked for hot sauce (Never delivered). For the Sphagetti we decided to just go for Margarita pizza as that would be simpler but they put the same sauce on the pizza and brought it back out. Ended up just drinking a beer and leaving... Worst place with terrible staff. Save ur money! Walk down 5 more min and you have better places like Nu Delhi and QOI with exceptional service.More

I ordered a meal which specified “spicy” on the menu. I asked if that was “western spicy” or “local spicy”. The waitress just offered to make it less spicy. I asked for it “western spicy.” Alas, there was no spice in it at all, and...it was fairly bland. Dessert menu didn’t look exciting, so we went home without dessert. I think there are better options on the street.More

Had a meal here - was edible - but very overpriced for what it was, there is much better in the street... clearly looking for the trade from the big hotels... Walk on....
