A good choice of menu, large portions, excellent tasty food. The steak and ale pie and the salmon dish were both first class. Lovely ambience and great staff.

Being retired my wife & I eat out twice per week within the Chester & district area. This was one of the most disappointing experiences. Steak & chips. Steak was tastless & the chips virtually inedible, they appear to have been precooked & reheated.

Had a 2 night stay here and ate in the restaurant on the first night. Excellent food and fish/chips proportions huge! Attentive, courteous staff and tasteful furnishings. Would recommend and return. The wood fired pizza oven was also a hit!!
