Great place to start, with wonderful views and easy parking..an important factor during peak times. Food is available, and the fact buses don't travel in this direction like they do with Hermit's Rest helps keep it less crowded.

We just had the coffee but all the food looked good. Loved the tower and the view that is right there.

Chose to eat here on the run for our day of touring the canyon. Although they ran out of pizza, everyone was able to find something they liked.

Popped in to get out of the cold and had a surprisingly good and reasonably priced bowl of chilli. Just what's needed on a cold day.

We were hungry when we arrived here. We had the Indian Fry Bread Taco Salad and a Turkey Sandwich. It was reasonably priced. The workers were very friendly and helpful.

Had the turkey sandwich. Yummy, toasted with veggies and Swiss cheese. Loved every bite. Coca was good too, especially since it snowed!

A first for me but not the last! On our way south from Grand Canyon we swung by Désert View and decided on breakfast in the snack bar, good idea! Relatively good coffee and an excellent burrito to prop it up was delicious. And very friendly service from Edd (from Louisiana) made it better and he gave us a tip... More
