The appetizers and drinks were good but way more expensive than the same type of thing as in town. You are paying for the view. While it is a good view, order a soft drink, take in the view and when you leave eat back down in town with a lively crowd and more relaxed atmosphere and have fun. Since... More

Be prepared. This place is expensive! I actually recommend the bar where you get the same view. You can walk outside on the deck and get the full view. The restaurant has wonderful service and good food. You can also just walk out on the deck, maybe have a drink, and then go eat in town.

Take a short walk up the hill to fantastic food. We never expected to find such a great restaurant perched on a hillside just outside Denali Nat'l Park. The food is a bit pricey, but if you are going to treat yourself, this is the place. The service was outstanding and don't miss the special drinks from a very knowledgeable... More

It's wonderful to visit a restaurant after a few years time to find that its quality of service, food and attention to detail has not slackened in any way. Sitting at the bar, my bartender David made me a beautifully crafted cocktail and from there my meal flowed from appetizers of fresh mussels with a beautiful mignonette and one of... More

My husband and I both had great meals here. But the baked Alaska was the best dessert we had the 2 weeks we were in Alaska including on the HAL cruise ship! The service was friendly. The place was rather empty. They picked us up from across the street and brought us back to our hotel with their shuttle -... More

A little expensive but then it is in a tourist town. Our food and service were good. I had crab cakes. They were excellent. I would go again. Oh and make sure you call the # for the van. You don't want to Walk up the hill

We checked into the Crows Nest Cabins after a long drive from Seward and we were hungry. The Overlook is part of the Crows Next complex so it was very convenient. It was early but we were the first people in the place which is never a good sign. We ordered drinks and 2 appetizers, the flatbread and the king... More

Had a lovely dinner with family and fiancé- my father in law didn't care for the bones- however my fiancé assures me it was wonderful- I had the steak salad which was very good- although the dressing was a little sour to me

I read a few TA reviews mentioning bad customer service at The Overlook and now I have experienced it for myself. In summary, we sat in the middle of the restaurant and were ignored for >1 hour... -Ordered drinks and had to go to the bar and get them myself after 10 minutes. -Ordered food and 1hr and 15min later...
