Stayed at the RV parking lot for one night. Had dinner and a couple of beers at the Restaurant. Good choice of brews. Burgers were better than I thought they would be. Little expensive, but that is to be expected in the middle of nowhere. Fries were alright. Altogether a pleasant experience. The generator went out and we were in... More

This location is indeed remote, but really it's not! It's less than an hour from Lone Pine, so the high prices are only justified as a rip off! A chance to take advantage of travelers! We paid $15 for a small frozen pizza... Almost $15 for a frozen hamburger & fries! It was just not good! And..... To beat all,... More

Arrived for an early snack lunch and were welcomed very genuinely even though it was not quite 12 o'c. Had a good simple meal on the veranda watching the birds feasting on prickly pears. Would be especially nice in the evening for a beer as the sun goes down.

I didn't want to eat anything heavy as I was going up to see some vistas off road furher on up from Darwin Falls. So I ordered a basic burger. My server was Andrea and she was friendly as were some of the staff hanging out. Got there a half hour ahead of a tour bus. The burger was cooked... More

Thank you lovely Alex for a superb evening - couldn't ask for more in your amazing retreat - friendly, great cooking and an amazing selection of beer! Top hostess to boot! A more relaxing off grid location than you could ask for! Not a "spa" but that's not what we wanted (you can get a "spa" anywhere....) I hope everyone... More

Great veranda, interesting people, cacti & wildlife. Lunch is average, breakfast buffet is good (we were only there for lunch & breakfast). We would eat there again, but it's nothing that special. There is a bar with beer, wine, and cocktails.

My Cardiac Arrest (Blue Cheese and Bacon Burger) was beyond expectations! Staff very friendly, Enjoyed the flowering cactus and view. Restrooms are clean. I check out the hotel rooms in behind the restaurant and I would have been okay with staying there. I did not book a room based on the reviews of the hotel.

My wife and I had lunch at Panamint Springs Resort on our way out of the park. It started out nice with great views, outside seating, and a large beer selection but went downhill from there. We arrived after a big party so the service was slow. However, out waiter was really hustling. He did a good job serving everyone... More

Wanted a good salad. What we got sounded good on the menu, but appeared to be canned chicken dumped out of a can. Dirty, dusty (to be expected) hole. But it's the only choice in the area.

We were on our way from Death Valley to Lone Pine and needed a bite to eat. We stopped at Panamint Springs and were glad we did. We split the smoked chicken/smoked gouda salad, which was a very good choice for us. It calmed our hunger but did not make us feel stuffed. It was just the thing to get... More
