Can't comment on the food as we couldn't get in. We were running a little late and wanted to get breakfast but we got there at 10:02 and they stop serving breakfast at 10. The rather rude person we spoke to told us we would need to go next door to the bar. I was OK with that and replied... More

We had dinner at the Toll Road Restaurant in on March 31, 2017 as we were staying at the Stovepipe Wells Hotel, Death Valley. The servers are cordial and helpful. The food choices are limited. I ordered a dinner called "Chicken Fried Chicken" and it was very unappetizing and tested not so good either. My wife and my grandson ordered... More

We enjoyed this restaurant with its good selection of items. Staff were welcoming and polite. Food was good, and better than some of the other restaurants in the area.

Stayed at the Stovepipe Wells hotel, the week of March 5th. A big buffet breakfast at the hotel made sense for a long day of hiking. While the selection was decent and what one would expect from a buffet (pancakes, waffles, sausage, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, cereal, biscuits, etc.) most of the food at 8:15 a.m. was either barely warm or... I was a bit disappointed in this restaurant on our visit to Death Valley NP. We had to wait about half an hour to sit down due to the lack of wait staff even though there were several tables available. The waiter said we should not order the coffee because it was terrible and they were out of iced tea!... More

There were few customers but we had to wait for our food order to be taken. We were told the kitchen was backed up

Staying at the Stovepipe Wells Inn for a few days, it was natural to head over to the Toll Road for breakfast and supper. The breakfast buffet is nicely laid out with a selection of different types of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash, pancakes, French toast, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurts, bagels, and toast. Great place to load... More

We had three dinners here. Service: efficient and courteous. Food: Hamburger with French fries was very good, especially the bun. The flat iron steak with baked beans and corn was average. On the third night we were served complimentary cornbread that was very good; why was it not served on the first two nights we don’t know. Our favorite was... More

They were very busy and understaffed on a Saturday nite. The kitchen was backed up but Sheri was on the job and managed to keep the crowd happy with some finesse and good humor. My ribeye was delish.

Food is good and service is very good, but a little slow if you get in there as it opens. However, if you go later, there will be a waiting list. ADA accessible, but is a round about way. Place is clean and has movie posters of movies shot in Death Valley.
