Fairly basic choice of food but location is superb. Steaks to be recommended but pricey - given lack of competition I guess this is to be expected.

If you are 1) staying in Death Valley & 2) Want to eat some sort of civilized dinner & 3) Do not want to be in a noisy saloon then, 4) you only have one choice. We were staying at the Inn at Furnace Creek...More

We had dinner at the Furnace Creek Dining Room which was a buffet for $27 each. It was not too great. The choices were limited and the food was low average. The salad bar and the desserts were the best part of the meal.

The restaurant has some of the best service I've ever experienced. The food is very good but very, very expensive in my opinion. We had several breakfasts, lunch and dinners during our stay.

We thought the food here was very good. The views and the setting are wonderful, so that helps, but we were happy with the food as well.

My husband and I had 2 dinners here and both were good in terms of food quality, service, and nice view of the mountains. The resort was fully booked, but the service did not suffer at all. The cheesecake dessert was great!
