This cafeteria style restaurant is located within the Carlsbad Caverns Visitor Center and we found that it was adequate for getting a lunch during our visit to the caverns. We had the Mexican selection and it was reasonably good and the price was not too inflated like some other National Parks. Unfortunately, the line can get quite long and move... More

This cafe is the 'only game in town' and it's pretty basic. Sandwiches, paninis, salads and soup - all cafeteria-style. There was nothing really special on the menu.

This is the usual NPS (national Park Service) food. It keeps body and soul together and is relatively expensive. Regards, OldeBear

It's underground, in the cave. That is the draw. The fare is easy, only a couple of choices. Should be super fast to get order and receive food...but...the credit card machine slows the line down considerably. They desperately need two cash drawers. One for cash only and one for credit card (during the busy season). Probably not necessary for slower... More

I was there visiting the caverns and it was lunch time, I was hoping when I bought lunch that it was supporting the National Park system. I do not believe it was, after reading some of the signs around the restaurant. Not sure why I am calling it a restaurant. It is more cafeteria style, you order food and take... More

We had read the reviews and had reasonable expectations. The prices makes sense given the context of the location being distant from civilization. It's fast-enough, though could be faster if the franchise were run by Chipotle or a similar business. Food is a little pedestrian but edible, with pre-packaged ice cream bars in a freezer that you can grab. If... More

For a National Park visitor center, we found the food to be very good and reasonably priced. I had the Pork Adovado with rice and enjoyed it very much. SWMBO had the tacos which were very tasty. This was the second time we've eaten there and both times the service and the food were very good.

This was a large cafeteria connected to a large, nice gift shop. Perfect place to wait on someone taking a cavern tour. The food was average, but a lot was offered. Hot food, cold food, live cafeteria line. Something for everyone.

There are two snack bars serving hot andpm cold food . It is mostly Mexican food and my food wasn't very hot. More like tepid. But, the convenience made it worthwhile.
