Every time we visit Mt Tamborine we have to come here for scones and tea. We haven't tried the high tea option yet but are happy to have our scones and tea outside and enjoy the lovely garden. The scones are really good - probably the best I have had at a cafe. The staff here are very friendly and... More

We had high tea at tea and niceties on sunday. The food was all very nice, though scones a little dry maybe because they are a small size. The china is beautiful as is the silverware. I think it would be nice for the water to be served from nice jugs not old plastic ones. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the... More

With some overseas family visiting, I requested to be seated out in the garden, and the team were only too happy to assist. (Despite this being a tricky request). The table was beautiful and the selection of treats and teas were delicious! We couldn't finish our selection, so go on an empty stomach! On a beautiful day, the garden really... More

First of all although we went on a Saturday they were not that busy to warrant disgraceful service. My father ordered a BLT with egg, however after he bit into it he discovered there was no egg so I took it back to the counter and advised what happened. After about 5 minutes a waitress came back with dad's BLT... More

Good service and chatty staff, one thing I would say is for high tea in general is to have a little choice in the cakes and sandwiches, I do not like piccalilli in sandwiches or egg. Tea pots were nice and big so no shortage there cakes were nice

We pooped in for a luncheon. Was not aware we had to book for the High Tea so we ate out in the lovely gardens. The food was nice, BLT, Chicken and Clive Pie, Quiche and veggie burger. Just a wee bit ex you for lunch but hey, long weekend and all. Nice place for a quiet lunch

Delishus cakes and gelateria... all home made. They bring a tray of different teas out and you can smell each little bottle and decide which tea to match with your homemade meal or cake... loved it!

I hosted a bridal shower here the other week with 20 guests. We got the private room and there was a 2hr time limit and guests came a bit late. However, the staff never made us feel rushed and provided wonderful service. We all had the $40 high tea and it was so lovely! Everything was freshly made and everyone... More

My very blokey hubby and I booked in for high tea on our holiday to Queensland and I cannot rate this highly enough. From the friendly staff, to the table setting, to the delicious food...which we got to take home that what we couldn't eat! Would certainly book in again if ever back up in Tamborine Mountain.
